This is a very comfortable shirt. very lightweight and seems to dry quickly when it gets wet. One of the features I like the best are two large zipper pockets in the front that are behind the traditional pockets. I find them great for travelling as I put my wallet in one and my cell phone in the other then zip them up. They are very easy for me to get to, but would be a bit of a problem or a pickpocket. The fact that they have an UPF of over 50 is a nice feature as well. Sizing seems to be reasonably accurate and the shirts feel well made. I am happy I found them. Read more
It's a nice shirt - the seams, fabric, and buttons feel nice. I was trying to specifically find nylon shirts hoping the weave is tight and maybe harder for mosquitos to get through. No idea if this is true or not, but the holes ARE very small. I also work in the sun so long sleeve is mandatory. Outdoorsy feel and look and it will dry fast. The material almost feels like surf trunks. I ordered a small and will keep it, BUT, I am almost always a large. 5'9-10", 165lbs, 41" chest under the pits. It's a bit tight in the shoulders and the seam that should be at the shoulder and the arm is about .3" toward my neck. I don't go to the gym but am fairly active.. normal to athletic build. Also the sleeves can't be worn down, too short, but 3 rolls look nice. I might be between sizes but the shirt is nice enough to gamble on a size up. A larger fit will definitely breath better and feel cooler. Random topic: It's hard to tell if the stitching is lighter (white for instance on the black shirt) - that would be AWESOME imo, but I figured it wasn't. They might be using the same color thread for each shirt, but it's shiny and seems to reflect more light. It's cool. Better than being exactly the same because they don't need to hide the stitches. They are very straight, reinforced, and the zippers seem nice (the pleats/vents are a nice touch). Read more
The shoulders are tight. I bought a large and wear a large, but these sleeves and shoulder area s are tight. The shirt is really thin. A summer shirt for sure. I like the color. My mind is not made up yet about this shirt. Price was right. But, not one of my favorite shirts. UPDATE: wore it for the first time. I like the shirt. I got compliments on the shirt. Fit well. Surprisingly nice shirt. Holds up pretty well so far, looks nice, the buttons and pockets are very useful, and it is fairly breathable so you won't get too warm in hot weather. Read more
Ordered these for my husband for work shirts; he works outside and also does handy-man and remodel work. I also ordered the brand Tacvasen because these Magcomsen shirts were not supposed to arrive until the end of July, but they came today, June 29! I ordered both brands in what looked to be a virtually identical shirt. Both are 100% nylon, both in size medium. BUT the Tacvasen shirt is a heavier fabric and somewhat rough feeling against the skin. And the shoulder area was much tighter on the Tacvasen which does not work at all for what my husband will be doing. The Magcomsen shirt were far lighter weight, had a very soft feel, and had more room in the shoulders. So we are returning the Tacvasen and keeping the Magcomsen shirts. These will dry quickly when they get wet, and seem to be of high quality especially for the sale price! The front pockets are large and roomy. Highly recommend these! Read more
I am a 5'9" 160 pounds guy. Ordered a GREEN SMALL shirt. Fits like a slim fit shirt. Perfect untucked length. Great quality on the fabric, buttons and seams. The length of the sleeves might be a bit short but since I usually roll them up that's not a problem. The real color is a bit darker than the one on the pictures. I actually like the darker color better. Would definitely get a couple more in different colors. Read more
I like the looks of this shirt but I have two problems : the first is the fit. I’m 5’9 and 185 lbs so I purchased a large ! It was a little big in the collar but rest of fit was fine . Second the color bleeds out after a several washes ! It looks great when New but be aware over time it will fade ! Not as bad with my light tan shirt but bad with my Royal Blue . Read more
