I was in need of a new ski/snowboard jacket and decided to order this to replace my older one. I ordered the denim blue color which looks nice and goes well with other colors of hat/gloves/snow pants. This coat is warm, feature packed and I have been very happy overall. The fleece-lined main area and hood keep you very warm in the colder weather and allows the rest of the jacket to feel lighter but still be very comfortable. The hood has Velcro ends which have decent wind protection when it's used, but it is also removable with a zipper which I tend to do while snowboarding which I do in order to use a helmet. The sleeves have Velcro at the cuff which works well for all winter outdoor activities to keep a tight seal for glove to go over the top of the sleeves. The main part of the jacket is wind and waterproof, including the pockets to protect your valuables while you are active. This is much appreciated as a snowboarder in the lower back when you sit down to strap in. On the front zipper there are a few features to help keep the cold out, there are buttons and Velcro on the top of the main zipper which helps to hold the outer flap in place during windy days. If you are active on a warmer day the zipper is double-sided, zips from both top and bottom and you can unzip from the bottom to get some air if you need it. I am 6'0" and about 195lb and you can see the fit in the last picture. The arm length is much better than my previous coat and allows for a great fit along with gloves for winter sports. This is a review of "MAGCOMSEN Men's Winter Ski Jacket Snow Waterproof Fleece Lined Warm Jackets Snowboard Parka Raincoat with 7 Pockets - XL, Denim Blue" This jacket is quit warm- the exterior is both wind and waterproof, and has a snag and tear resistant construction. The main body section and hood are lined with a ridiculously soft faux fur/fleece that is both silky and insulating; the sleeves don't have the lining as it would possibly get wet while coming down a mountain, despite the micro-hook and loop closures around the wrists. All the openings have solid closures, whether it is the hook and loop wrists, the drawstrings around the hood and waist openings, and additional hook and loop attachments for the hood tabs to make sure it is completely sealed. It does a great job at that! I like the double slider zipper- it allows you to access pants/bib/etc without fully opening the jacket. If you need to get something from your inner pockets, you can do it without losing all the warmth from your upper torso. The pockets provided are numerous and useful. The inner hook and loop pocket is perfect for a scarf or neck gator; the mesh inner pocket is perfect for your goggles when you head to apres-ski. The outer flap pockets are great place to store your gloves, etc. The side hand pockets are great for warming up a bit more that your gloves can provide, and are bit more secure with their zipper closures. And the exterior breast zipper pocket is the perfect spot for a lift pass, sunglasses, phone, etc.- quick and easy access with a secure zipper. There is more than enough storage. I also really like the denim blue color I chose- it is understated but will show up nicely against the snow. I would have appreciated some reflective highlights for emergency situations, but that is a minimal concern. I can add that myself. I am 5'9", 220 lbs and ordered the XL. I purchased this jacket for hubby's everyday use. It is well made and fits great. He is able to bundle up with extreme cold without it being too tight. This jacket has a nice fleece inner lining, including the hood. I tried on the jacket and it is warm without the extra clothing. This jacket has lots of handy pockets - some zip and some are velcro. For the price point, this is a jacket that is perfect for the winter and once you wear it out, you will repurchase - we will! Read more

Living in New Orleans it’s not often that one needs a jacket of this substance. However, with an upcoming cold snap on the way, and not wanting to spend a fortune I sprung for this lovely and very functional winter ski jacket. Not much skiing around New Orleans, except water skiing in the summer, and not much winter these days to be honest, but this baby does the trick for long dog walks, teen windchills, and necessary trips outside the house in this dreadful weather. With zippers and Velcro and gussets galore; with pockets of all sizes and shapes, this jacket really did the trick for a tropical climate thriving guy like myself. It’s not at all heavy yet worked very well at keeping the damp windchill out without making me sweat from inside. Definitely waterproof from wind driven rain in particular. I ordered it a size larger than my normal size knowing that I would layer it so the xXL fit well over my standard XL sizing. Once I figured out how to attach the hood at the lapels with hidden Velcro, it fit comfortably and again very warm and impervious to most foul weather. This jacket was a life saver plowing snow during our unusual cold we had this year. Single digits on a quad and was still very warm. The fit was as expected and fit me perfectly layering up. The quality seems very good as it still looks new other than a couple dirty spots from mud. This has become my go to when temps get cold. Read more
