I requested and received (but will pay income tax on its estimated value, so it technically isn’t free, for those who are wondering) this racerback mesh workout top in black, size medium. I’ll preface by stating that I'm 5'7", fluctuate between 135-140, and generally wear a size 6 but sometimes a 4 in Athleta. I went ahead and requested a medium simply because I’d rather the workout tank be a touch roomy than have something that fits a wee too tight. There are so many things I love about this top, the first being the incredible fabric. The similarity to certain LLL running singlets and beach tanks is uncanny. If the LLL running singlet fabric is soft and silky at a 10 out of 10, this tank’s fabric is a solid 8 on the same scale. I love this workout top’s fabric because it doesn’t cling to my seamless workout leggings and doesn’t prevent dissipation of moisture. I love that the hem is curved in the front and back and, therefore, aids in covering your assets. This is one of the things I love most about this top, second to the fabric. The neckline is pretty high, so no worries about exposing yourself to the whole world if you prefer to not do so. I’ll be blunt and tell you I cannot think of anything that would detract from a five-star rating other than they really need to make this tank in lots of colors and even offer different designs utilizing this very same fabric. Gosh, I am just so impressed with this workout tank and I am 100% including it as one of my go-to tanks for the gym. I have included pictures of the basic measurements of a size medium for reference purposes and also two other pictures so you can get a general idea of the fit of a medium on someone of my build. This tank is lightweight, breathable, and perfect for hot weather. The fabric is soft and stretchy. The fit is flattering without being too tight, and it moves easily with me. It washes well, doesn’t shrink, and holds its shape nicely. I really like the mesh panel style and how light it is, as it gets very hot here down south. As a runner, I've tried a lot of different running gear and am particular about what I wear. This new workout tank is going to be in heavy rotation this summer. First, I really like the fit. I'm a size 8 and the cut of the medium fits very well--not too loose or long, the bottom of the shirt hits at a nice level. It's also not too tight, and the vented panels in the back helped cool me off while working out in the hot summer weather. Another big plus was that the fabric didn't discolor or turn dark as I sweat during my workout. I also really like the bright color to help aid with visibility if I'm out at dusk or in the evening. At $19, it's a little more than I might pay at a discount store, but I do really like the fit and quality of the tank and know I'll be wearing this for a while. Read more
