I would say you’d be better off throwing cash in the blender than buying this product, but to be frank, I don’t think this could even handle cash. I’ve tried using it for a few months now in an attempt to make protein shakes and smoothies, and I’ve been left disappointed every time. I have followed all the instructions (never passing the fill mark, timing the blend to make sure it doesn’t run too long, etc.) and without fail, it always smokes and stops working. I then have to unplug it and wait fifteen minutes until the ice is melted — and yes, it has to be melted, this thing can’t handle ice cubes — and then try again. Even though the ice is melted, it can’t cut through already sliced banana, leaving wads of fruit and pockets of cold water. Don’t even think about frozen fruit. It immediately stops working and smokes, no matter how little you put in. I heard good things about this brand but I was sorely disappointed. You’re better off buying a single use blender anywhere else. Read more
