In this age of making products cheaper and charging more, this DVD Player is a steal. It plays well and the sound quality is pretty good as well. I bought this as a backup to the one I purchased a few years ago and still using. I pop in a laser disc. cleaner about every 20 hours of use and it still plays the dvd's without a problem.
