It has a touch-control system, and the back of the lamp is a large button that also lights up. It’s very easy to use, you can adjust the light to go in basically any direction, as well as remove it and use it as a portable light. It attaches to the stand magnetically. The battery life is the only downside for me. I prefer to use it while plugged in, because it just doesn’t last a super long time with just the battery. It’s perfect for late at night, or when you just want to have focused light in one place. It works well as both a nightlight and work light. Overall, I’m very happy with it. The mount for the head has a cylindrical friction fit socket with a weak magnet to help keep it on its post. A 1.5 amp hour battery at 3.7 volts gets you to the 6 watt-hour battery energy capacity level. The LED is rated for 6 watts so at full tilt that says an hour of light on a charge. Typical power banks for recharging cell phones run at about ten times that energy capacity. The battery does not hold a charge. I bought four lights. I charged these out of the box until the red light went off for about 3 hours each (instructions indicate that a green light will go on when fully charged, but a green light never went on). Used these on bright mode and the battery failed after 90 minutes. I charged each again overnight. Put on the mid-dim mode and the battery failed even faster. Waste of money. Read more

I was leary of this light. But I now have a situation of no light where this item solved my problem. The light is perfect size fir the space. It gives me the best light for the space. It is usbc rechargeable, a great value for the money and a perfect look for most spaces.
