This has been a game changer for me! One of my favorite items ever to make editing photos on the go a more enjoyable experience! I have a 16” laptop and I edit photos a lot in airplanes. It was always a nightmare to have my hard drive cable sticking out into the seat next to me. I would curl the cable around and put it in my lap. It was a nightmare, and my drive was always getting disconnected. I think they could probably make a lower profile version that might be nice, but I would recommend this to anyone who works off of external solid state hard drives on a laptop. Seriously an incredible product! It holds my hard drive securely, the magnet makes it easy to remove. I also recommend getting a right angle high speed data cable for the set-up. One of the best investments for your laptop Computer if you used external hard drives. I edit videos for work and usually have them save on a portable SSD. Extremely strong magnet and grip. My only issue is it is rather bulky. It needs a case to carry it as I’d rather not have that strong magnet open in my computer case or camera back. Not to mention it’s sharp edges banging into things in any bag. But it does just what it is suppose to. Way better price that the smaller brand “X” version. Read more
