The packaging needs work, but this oil is pure heaven
I’m giving this four stars only because of the packaging. The small glass bottle has a plastic screw top but no flow restrictor (like you’d find on a salad dressing bottle), so it’s easy to spill and kind of stressful to use. I’ve ordered a rollerball bottle to see if that makes application easier and safer. That said—the product itself is lovely. If you're sensitive to fragrances and get instant headaches from most perfumes, Maison Louis Marie (MLM) might be a game-changer. No. 4 is my current favorite. It has a soft, feminine scent—powdery, not overly floral or sweet—and never overpowering. The body oil strikes the perfect balance: subtle, elegant, and long-lasting. Layering the oil with other MLM No. 4 products enhances the fragrance beautifully. If you prefer heavy, intense perfumes, this line might not be for you. But if you love fragrance and struggle with sensitivity, I highly recommend giving MLM a try. I’m so hooked I even use a little oil before bed—falling asleep to that beautiful scent and waking up with just a trace of it left is such a treat. Read more
