Overall, this is a good product with an easy installation /setup and performs as advertised, but I had to make a few personal modifications. (Having an impact driver will cut your time for installation drastically instead of using the wrenches that they provide). The main reason I purchased the Drone is for the Cross-cable pulley design. I did not upgrade to the metal pulleys. The plastic ones work just fine. One of the minor modifications I had to make is gluing a small foam piece of cheap gym flooring to the side of the pulley. When doing pec flies, starting from the top of the rack down to the center of your body for the contraction, the pulley swings very quickly back and hits the frame when the cable is fully retracted back to the top of the pulley. This is more of a personal annoyance and I do not want the powder coating to chip or wear out over time. Similarly, I was not satisfied with the high amount of tension at the end of the cables when there is weight at the end of the pulley mechanism in its rest position. What I ended up doing was adding a piece of one-inch synthetic deck board sliced to fit the bottom of the rubber bumper when the pulley descends down the guide rail to its resting position (roughly 2”x2”). This allows for 1-2 inches of slack at the end of the cable so there’s not as much tension and one is able to grab the ball at the end of the cable in its resting position. Granted, I understand the drawback to this modification is that the lack of tension may contribute to the cable going off track, but I have yet to encounter this problem. If you are a power lifter, just be aware that this frame, although very durable and versatile is also incredibly light and very easily moved. If one is regularly moving over 500 pounds I would suggest investing in a more heavy duty frame in their line of power racks. It is not mounted into the wall and is freestanding. The pull up bar is extremely sturdy and the land mine attachment is also very functional. For my personal use it works amazingly well, but I train primarily with kettle bells and use the rack for more ancillary type of lifting exercises. Overall, I highly recommend and I’m very happy with the product. Read more

Absolutely amazing! Solid material and functional piece of equipment. Took me 3 hours to put it together. Very stable when I do pull ups. The pulley system is amazing, not as loud as people said it would be. Incredibly fun rack. Perfect for garage and tight spaces. I was trying to decide between this rack or the mikolo brand and this one is definitely the right choice. This rack and some bumper plates and you are set! Read more

Mostly, this gym setup is awesome. I use it almost every day, and it fits great in 1/2 of my garage. The cable system is fairly smooth (I did a light WD-40 lube job before first use). Assembly took a while, but I had no problems. A few complaints though: 1. The attachments are mostly pretty cheap. I ended up buying after market attachments and replacing most of the ones that came with it. Luckily, quality replacements aren't that expensive. 2. The dip bars are especially bad. The handles are too narrow, and the metal is not very strong. I am 230 lbs, and I've bent them after about 5 uses. I've bought an after-market dip bar to replace. I've attached a picture showing the bend. But even with these faults, I'm quite happy with the purchase. I'm able to do all the exercises I need to do, hitting all the major muscle groups. No more waiting for equipment and listening to bad music at the gym for me! Read more

Great deal for the money, assembled by myself. Only part that can get tricky is tightening the bolts that are under the base. The pulleys are great. Not very stable for pullups but I kinda expected that. Read more

I’ve had the drone 3 for about 10 months and have no complaints. Everything works as it should. I’ve switched to doing most of my workouts at home now. I still have my gym membership for days I want to get out of my garage but overall I get the workout I need. No issues so far. It took me a while to decide which to buy and I don’t regret it. It’s as quiet as a cable rack can be, no shaking when I do pull up’s. Even though I don’t load it past 50lbs the cable system is smooth. It fits perfect in my garage doesn’t take too much space. I can see it lasting a while. Read more

I found this thanks to Reddit. There was a lot of conversation around another model, but this one was more affordable and fit my space better. I watched some YouTube reviews(go look for these!) and took the plunge on Prime Day last summer. Such a great purchase- we really have every motion covered with our home gym setup now. For the price, this is unbeatable. It was easy enough to put together, but does take some time. My only complaint is that the J-Hooks have scratched the front bars up. I may have chosen the Khaki color instead of black had I known. Read more
