I was excited to try this Women's Maxi Pleated Skirt, but I was really disappointed. The quality just isn’t there—the fabric feels a little scratchy and it doesn’t look as nice in person as it did online. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations and I wouldn’t recommend it. But a lot of people are jumping on the pleated skirt trend, and if that sounds like you, this skirt might be tryout next best buy! Read more

This skirt buttons down from top to bottom. It does have a lining inside that doesn’t go all the way to the bottom of the skirt but that falls above the knee. Though the lining is sufficient to where you don’t need a slip, I recommend one (or something underneath) due to the buttons (and just in case). In person, it’s definitely more of a turquoise color than what is depicted on the product page but I still like it. A big plus is that it comes with pockets, and it should be easy to care for due to the type of fabric. The way the waist is designed coupled with the pleats is actually not the most flattering look. It sort of balloons out and makes you look heavier than you are. I think this might look best with a belt that adds more definition to the waist. Read more

The media could not be loaded. The satin is a great medium weight material which means that it swishes beautifully as you move around, is more resistant to pulls from jewelry and hangnails, and feels really nice on the skin. It is see through enough to show my lace thigh bands, the edge of the waist seam, and the pocket linings. My biggest issues with it are: - the pockets are broken th stitched in a way that they flap out, and the right one flaps out much more than the left - instead of just leaving an opening in the seam for the slit in the leg, they actually cut away a v-shape, which means that the back part kind of gaps open in a way that makes it look like a mistake. - the elastic at the back of the was and is free floating, so Everytime you put it on or take it off the edges roll and it tries to flip, which means that over time it will break down on the edges making it more likely to roll up and you move around.
