Bought this for my sons bed after we made the switch over to a floor wool / cotton Japanese style mattress. Everything about his bed is fully organic materials and this comforter is a great final touch. It’s cold here in the winter and he says this blanket is perfect and keeps him very warm. It’s so soft and the details are perfect. He absolutely loves it. Would love to have more designs to pick from but he liked the animals. He said checkered would be cool (he loves his checkered vans, LOL!) This is a beautiful comforter for a kid bed and it’s well worth the switch to organic materials for the little ones sleep! I purchased this blanket for our two-year-old son. It’s a beautiful, neutral color — appropriate for boys or girls — and so soft! The quilt arrives packaged in a very nice cotton presentation bag. On the inside, it’s wrapped with ribbon. The packaging is perfect if you are planning to purchase this as a gift for a baby shower! I washed the quilt before giving it to our son (cold, delicate, with a dye-free and scent-free detergent). I used medium heat in the dryer and it came out perfectly! Still very soft and no pilling or fading. I’ve encountered other children’s blankets that are too delicate or difficult to wash, which never made sense to me because kids spill all the time! This Make Make Organics blanket washed easily, which makes it a great choice for babies and toddlers alike. The quilt is very well-constructed and the labels confirm the fabric is 100% organic cotton. I was also really pleased with the cross-stitch detail. It’s cute on the gray side and even cuter on the inverse white — it’s a simple, classic choice for a child or baby’s nursery. Our toddler uses the quilt as a light blanket in his “big boy” bed. It’s a great weight for summer or fall. I can also see this quilt being used for “tummy time” for an infant — there is enough padding and it’s the perfect size, plus the soft material would be so nice for a little face to rest on. The media could not be loaded. This blanket is amazing. I chose this one particularly because it is larger than the standard toddler size blanket. My toddler likes to roll around a lot in her sleep so it’s nice to know that she’s got a couple extra inches to keep her covered in the middle of the night. It’s extra soft, thick and so well made.
