This just looks so cheap! I (stupidly?) thought the material would be embroidered but no. And though the print is vibrant it ends up looking cheap against the bright white background. In trying to figure out what this super synthetic fabric might otherwise be used for, the only thing I can imagine is maybe a shower curtain? Or maybe a cheap tablecloth? And I actually like to repurpose those kinds of things into clothing, but this is not something I would do that with. I'm trying to figure out something I could refashion this into... maybe a bag of some sorts, like for packing up my hair extensions in my suitcase? Read more

The floral V-neck vest from the MakeMeChic store is truly horrible. The fabric is a cheap, matte satin brocade with the design screen-printed on top, and it feels extremely cheap. The vest appears to be embroidered, but sadly, it is not. The entire vest is trimmed in a two-tone braid with an additional metallic gold thread, which just adds to the overwhelmingly disappointing design. In contrast to the poor quality fabric and design choices, the sewing quality is nice, and the medium fits my size 6 body perfectly. Read more
