Bought this to hold DeWalt full-sized A/C electric reciprocating saws (I have a couple of them to tote around) for demo work that I do. It does appear (based on measurements that I made upon delivery) that it is about 21 inches, as listed. Size is perfect for my needs. Materials and construction appear to be quite robust. I also had the problem (as I saw another individual listed) that there was no shoulder strap included with this unit (although it's listed by the seller, as well as Makita's website). I called the seller to discuss. I was told that they'd get one such strap out to me by mail. (They're based in the same state as where I live, only about a half-hour south of me). I was quite surprised to find the strap in my mailbox the very next day (less than 24 hrs from my call to them). Overall initial delivery timing was good (I don't use the Prime accelerated delivery system), and delivery of the missing piece was also obviously good. And, as stated above, I further believe that the quality of the product itself is good as well. Read more
I ordered this tool bag to replace a slightly smaller one that was getting thin and holes in it. This tool bag was exactly what I needed to hold a Sawzall, drill, and impact driver all with batteries intstalled. It also can contain a box of drill bits a box of impact attachments large container of 3 in screws, sawzall blades 3 pairs of work gloves, 2 cans of wd-40 and a tape measure. The bag zips closed with little effort and has nice padded carry straps. Seems like it will last a lot of in and outs of the back of the truck. Read more
Very durable, heavyweight Cordura nylon construction. A ton of room inside after you open its cavernous, gate mouth. The huge zipper glides until you try to re-open it around the curve of the bag's side. (Don't close it all the way, or you may rip it off its track trying to get it to move.) Had Bill Clinton's fly been this difficult to open, Al Gore would have been elected in a landslide... ***1/26/2015: After one year of hard use on construction jobsites and being tossed around the back of my truck, this tool bag has begun to show signs of wear at the corners. Some of the black nylon fabric has frayed from abrasion, exposing the plastic wire reinforcements. There are no holes yet, and the zipper still works ok, but I expected a more durable fabric, like that used in backpacks and luggage... I have downgraded my opinion of this product to a 3 star rating. Read more

This is a name brand tool bag that is a very large size. I love the high quality and the pockets on the side. It is roomy enough for several of my power tools and the chargers and attachments, not including the pockets. I was shocked that the price was so low. I am thinking about getting a second one. I have a couple of these tool bags that I use for keeping related tools and supplies together. They work well, are reasonably large, and have held up very well so far. I generally prefer hard cases, but these are a good choice for awkwardly-shaped tools or tools with lots of additional bits that would otherwise not fit in a normal case. These seem to be relatively weather proof, though I wouldn't recommend pushing your luck with regards to leaving them out in the rain. No issues with bag construction, materials, zippers, etc. Everything works as you would expect. Read more
