The media could not be loaded. I did a lot of research and landed on this product because I wanted an easy to use cold press juicer since I’m starting to drink fresh juice daily for health benefits. It has really met my expectations! I really like how quiet it is, not noisy like my blender. I also appreciate that it’s easy to clean by hand, even though the parts are also dishwasher safe. The fine strainer is a tad more meticulous to scrub, but they give you a special brush to remove all the pulp. It’s also super easy to assemble and it’s a pretty and shiny appliance, so looks great in my kitchen. I did have an issue when I first received my order (it was missing the pulp and juice cups and the reverse function didn’t work), but I was able to return and have it replaced immediately and my new one works great. I still have yet to hear back from the manufacturer about the advertised 4-year warranty and Amazon doesn’t give any information about it directly. A tip I learned when feeding in your fruits and veggies: work with the slow masticating process of the auger by pulsing pressure with the pusher instead of just jamming the food in. I ordered Mama's Choice during prime day. My PowerXL had a recall, so when I got my refund, I ordered Mama's Choice. This juicer does exactly what it says it would do. I wanted a juicer that would juice root vegetables such as carrots, beets, ginger and it does the job. It is slower than most juicers (masticating juicer), but I don't mind watching it work its magic. You have to cut your veggies in small portions, but that's okay. It is easy to assemble, easy to take apart and easy to clean. It comes with a cleaning brush to get areas you cannot get to with a dishcloth. I really love my Mama's Choice Juicer. I got exactly what I wanted. I have been juicing now almost every other day. I will be doing a batch of carrots today. If you are just starting out to juice, you will NOT be disappointed. Read more

We’ve loved using this juicer, and it worked well for a time. Unfortunately, after a few uses, the “juicing body” (piece 9) cracked, and the juicer is no longer functional. I’ve tried reaching out to the company via email and Facebook to try to get a replacement piece and haven’t been able to get in contact with anyone. I don’t use it very often but after using it to juice today, the front piece flew off the base at an abrupt forced speed. After washing everything to put back together I realized the part that flew off cracked the attachment so it’s no longer usable - I’m so sad! Tried finding this company online to hopefully buy parts and looks like I’ll just have to research a better more reliable brand. Read more

I own a regular juicer but I was looking for a masticating juicer as these types of juicers use a slow cold press masticating squeezer mechanism technology that keeps the juice with less oxidation and maximum nutrition. So I bought this one and boy! I was not disappointed. It’s made of a durable material, it works efficiently and it makes less noise. It is easy to disassemble and it comes with a brush which makes it easier to clean. It has two settings: soft mode for softer fruits and hard mode, for harder vegetables. I got this item in the fall and the body broke today while in use. I used it maybe 10 times and it had worked great. I noticed last time that the head/spout started to push out when I juiced harder veggies like carrots. But it had never been an issue before. I’m not sure what happened, the plastic just snapped. With the exception of the reviewers that have had an issue with the broken auger housing, it seems that the negative reviews are either operator error or unreasonable expectation related. This is not a $400 machine and as such, has juice producing limitations. That being said, at this price point this machine works extremely well and cleaning is simple. Don't jam a whole carrot or celery stalk into the feed shoot. Cut them up into smaller pieces. Spinach and other leafy vegetables juice very well by crumpling them and lightly tamping into the auger. Haven't tried almonds yet but I expect good results. Customer service is exceptional. I had mistakenly ordered the light green model which was $10 more than the other colours and was given an immediate refund in that amount. Read more
