I love the purple paper on these pads and the pen shows up well on it, pencils show up very light though. The size of the pad is large enough to write a lot on each page, but small enough to fit in your purse. I use one in my purse and one at work to jot notes during meetings. This is a nice set of writing tablets. You can always use a tablet to make a list, keep notes, write random thoughts, etc. You get six tablets that measure 5” by 8”. Each tablet has 50 sheets of paper. They have a cardboard back with good finding on top. I like that the paper color is blue instead of the traditional yellow or white. The lines are narrow rule which I prefer. The paper is smooth and standard quality (same as any other tablet). The pages tear easily along the perforations. I am very happy with these tablets. They are a handy size. They fit nicely on my desk next to my computer and can be tucked into my purse. I am able to write on the paper with a variety of pens (permanent market will leak through a little). This is a good set of writing tablets. Read more

I take a lot of notes while on a *lot* of Zoom calls. The full-size legal pad has its moments, but this ‘Junior Legal’ size has its merits on a crowded desk. The Universal brand has been a good one for me, and these pads are no exception. They’re currently constructed with a medium-sized lining horizontally and one marginal double-line near the left side. The new item here is the cool blue-ish with red design. I generally stick to the old tried and true when it comes to office products. But I have to admit I like the aesthetics of this new look. I love this set of notepads. They're great for making lists and other miscellany and the color is so pretty! They are best used for small things because the size of the pad. I also like the narrow rule which makes for better handwriting and looks so pretty with purple gel pen. The paper quality is smooth and I will always have a set of these in the house from now on!
