This is the same as FitCamX maybe same or successor company. Shipped from US which was much faster then FitCamX. Easy install but be careful you can easily crack your windshield with your much pressure. Once it’s installed it just works, no real reason to connect to it unless you get into something. Not designed to have constant connection to your phone, you only use the connection to view a video you want. Going to order one for my other car as soon as it’s on sale, provided the little buddy doesn’t mess us up more Read more

Perfect for a 2019 Chevy Tahoe Just have to trim the head liner hole. Just a tad bigger just to fit in the two connectors besides that everything was easy. No worries because they send two plastic pieces that cover the headliner that connect around the mirror so you can cut the hole as big as you want and you’ll never see it. Read more

Looks OEM. Really easy to install. Plugs right into the auto dimming plug in existing mirror so no need to run wires. The start up sound is annoying though. The app didn’t allow me to turn it off so I took the device apart and removed the speaker in it. Otherwise it works well. Read more

I have 2 complaints. Otherwise it's an OK product I'd you want to try and look oem. First, the hole that he so easily hides the wires in, is not anywhere near the size of the hole in the install video on my vehicle. I supplied a picture so everyone can see the difference. The plug will not fit in the hole without cutting. I have to cut into the headliner to get the hole that big. Not mentioned in the notes or install instructions anywhere. I could use the obd connector, but I don't want to. I like having that available for my tuner or code reader, without losing my dashcam. Second, all the plastic pieces are very sharp. I am a full time mechanic and my hands are rough. The plastic pieces cut my fingers in multiple place just trying to get it apart out of the box. Then I had to install it with bandaids everywhere. Otherwise it works as advertised. It is a pain in the you know to install for my vehicle though. And cutting that hole is not easy unless you heat a knife to cut through the plastic. I was trying to avoid pulling my headliner out completely to use the stupid y adapter. Also you could have made the wires longer on the vehicle side y, so we could tuck it next to the camera instead of cutting into the headliner or something. Idk, but I would say your close, but not 100% there on model D for a 2017 Tahoe. I do like that it isn't suction cup technology, but I was under the impression the y adapter made this plug and play, and not multiple hours of install. That guy in the video made it look far easier than it really is. The videos on the app are the exact same video in this product images. No real written instructions or images other than the video. For some that makes it even harder to install since it doesn't reflect what they are seeing on their vehicle. It is what it is. I can't return it now since it cut me and I bleed all over it. It looks Factory, and the price is a little high in my opinion. Try to get it on sale. Read more

The enclosures are made of poor plastics and it doesn’t withstand in the tight ecosystem behind rear view mirror, however the camera and the connection module is extremely robust and works seamlessly on my Chevy 2018 suburban android radio. The data transfer bandwidth is good and automatically works beyond my expectations so far. I’m waiting for summer to find out how it works and summers in AZ is ruthless and I’ve lost most of my dash cams to heat in AZ. Fingers crossed. Read more
