Quick install, once I figured out the wifi situation. My phone kept switching back to my truck wifi, so I had to turn off the auto-connect feature in the phone wifi options for the truck. Once that was done, I was able to plug in the front camera to the OBD power source, and plug the rear camera into the front camera dongle and verify the cameras worked and the video was quality. I then ran the OBD plug from the plug under the steering wheel, easily slid it on the inside portion of the molding around the door, up to the headliner and to the install location. Same with rear camera. Plenty of cable to run through the car. Was able to easily run cable from camera in the headliner, slid it into the inside portion of the front door molding, slid it into the plastic molding between the front and rear driver's side doors, into the rear doors molding, and into the back headliner. Ran the app to make sure the camera was right-side up, and applied to rear window. Make sure you are putting it on the driver's side (for Colorado), or what ever side of your truck the rear sliding window does not slide to. Since I used the OBD plug so it can record while parked and turned off, there are other plugs in the box that will not be used. I plugged those other cables in until I realized I didn't need to because i was doing the OBD plug. The app has volume control, can turn off cabin audio recording, video quality settings, etc. Pleased with easy install (can't see any wires and the camera looks stock), and pleased with the app so far. Time will tell with quality and I will update if this thing breaks. Read more

It works great. Perfect for keeping yourself protected in traffic. Looks good where it mounts, like it was from the factory. A little bit of a pain to hide the wires when snapping the cover on. Otherwise easy enough to install. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This cost a bit more than I wanted for what it is, but it's custom fit and looks factory so I understand the added cost. The installation is easy and looks great. No ugly camera hanging on a suction cup. Unobtrusive and it automatically starts up when it should. The video is pretty good but they might be stretching the 4K claims. At the end of the day, it does start up fast, take decent video, and it's reliable. I've checked it's doing it's thing many times and it is. It's been good enough quality I can read license plates if I pause it. Overall I'm happy. I hope it lasts. Read more

Not sure why I was holding off on this purchase but this is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. The quality is amazing. Setup is easy and intuitive . The guide is very informative and the step by step video just shows how easy it is to get going. The app isn’t the cleanest or nicest but the functionality is perfect and connectivity wise is seamless. Cables are very compact so you don’t have to worry about extra slack on the cables. The AI features are questionable and kinda not necessary. However I love that I can connect my Google Drive to this application to store more videos. Read more

For reference, I installed the front and rear camera set up in a 2021 Chevy Colorado. The housing for the front camera makes it appear seamlessly like it is factory design. The rear camera has a more obvious footprint on the rear window, but it is to be expected. The main complaint is about the OBD power cable that supplies power to both the cameras. This feature is supposed to allow the cameras to operate in parking mode when the engine is off. It works, however, after 3 days of not using my truck I found the battery was drained. For disclosure, the main reason for the dash cam purchase was for active driving. The parking monitor feature was a bonus, but as an option it was disappointing not to have it functional. That said, I had to rewire the power to use the supplied Y-connector for the electronic rearview mirror. This was relatively easy to install; except I had to do a lot of research to figure out how to disconnect the rearview power supply plug (hint: there is a small tab on top of the plug that needs to be pushed in to pull the wiring out). The last bit of frustration encountered is trying to get the outer shell housing to seat flush with the windshield. It appears the extra room required for wiring the Y-power harness is blocking the housing to seat properly. I messed with this for over an hour and still haven’t got it affixed securely. I am going to attempt to fix it again later today. Again, all the online videos make this process appear to be simpler than what I have experienced (and I didn’t have this issue with the OBD power cord). I found that leading the lengths of wire around the interior and in the pillar housings was sufficiently long enough and relatively easy. Also, I found that I didn’t have to pull the rubber weather stripping off like most videos show. The video quality is what is to be expected. Improvement suggestions would be: 1) to have an option to switch/flip the rear camera image on the app to allow a more versatile rear camera mounting option, and 2) to have an internal battery option to use/access the camera videos when the vehicle is not running. This is an average camera system. A positive note is how it makes it look like an OME device. The power drain using the OBD power cord/plug is disappointing. The assembly is not as cut and dry as advertised. Read more

Works as it should for my 2025 Chevy Colorado, ZR2 love the look that you can’t tell it’s there. It’s a very clean looking dash cam. Definitely value for your money. I purchased the one with the rear cam also. Fitment was nice straightforward. The speed of installation was about an hour and 20 minutes so it was fairly quick that was even with cleaning up. I don’t understand why vehicles don’t come with this already installed just for safety of the drivers in passengers. It is definitely worth it Read more
