This took me 30 to 45 minutes to do after watching the video. Very simple process and very good quality. I would recommend this for any vehicle as it is geared to the that particular vehicle. Looks OEM factory fit. UPDATE DEC 2024 Went to drive my daughters car yesterday and the camera will not power on. Typical teenager tells me after I asked, she has not heard the little voice say "powered on" in a few weeks. I purchased the sunroof edition, so the wires were all installed as a "plug and play" from the manufacture. Not a lot out there about power issues. I plan to take it all apart this week to see if there is an issue with the "plug and play" adapter they sent me. Once I find the issue, I will report back. Read more

This is my second camera (different company). My first died in < a year. The mangoal was easy to install and is integrated so you don't see a separate unit. The instructions are part of the Amazon website videos. Not easy, but follow all the instructions like they say, it makes it easier. It took me about 1 hour to install. Easy to set up, easy to review the images & videos on my phone. 128 Gb mini SD card included. It has worked for 2 weeks flawlessly. I'll come back with any followups. Read more

Got this for a 2020 Mazda CX-5, and it fits perfectly. Installation was very easy, including tucking the cable from the front camera to the rear camera into the trim. We don't have it recording sound, so can't comment on that, but the video quality is great and we can record as much video as we want by changing to a larger SD card. Figuring out the skycamm app and connecting was a pain. I finally just deleted my phone from the car, then connected the camera to the app, then reconnected my car to my phone. It's great, starts recording after car is started so install and forget until you need it! Time will tell with longevity but so far I like the fact that there are another set of eyes if I ever need proof of a bad driver. I also opted for the rear camera because you can't add it later something about the motherboard being different on the single camera mode so keep that in mind when purchasing. It also comes with a OBD connector if you don't have a sunroof. The OBD is probably the better connection because it will record while car is parked. So if you live in a high crime area or a bad work area you might want to opt for that connection so it will record if someone messes with your car. It only took me 30 minutes to install and it looks factory, Even comes with an SD card just make sure you install it before powering the camera on. If you are tech challenged, then it is a real female dog to get connected to with the app. But once you get all the connections and passwords worked out, it is a very cool thing! Hubby did the physical installation with minimal swearing, which was a miracle in itself. Once installed, there are NO wires seen. Fits like a glove in the original front cowling. Video and photo quality is perfect. I am so in love with this camera! It beats the Red Tiger I had in my old car into the dirt. Would totally purchase again. Read more

Installed the front and rear camera kit on a 2025 Mazda CX5 and everything fit just fine. I recommend testing the app and cameras once it's got power to make sure they are working before continuing with the installation. It would be ashame to find out one or both aren't working once it's already installed. My kit included a OBD power cable and there is an extra cable inside the unit itself to connect to a GPS unit (sold separately). The sunroof power plug on the Y adapter sits out a little further than the factory plug so I thought i wasn't plugging in all the way but it was seated fine. So it may look like it sticks out a little further than the factory plug. I had a little bit of a tough time snapping the two housing panels together but eventually it seems snapped together and doesn't seem like it'll come loose or fall off. The only area I had a tough time hiding the cable was across the B-pillar where the side impact airbag is, i got it in there but there it's really stuffed in there, doesn't seem like there's as much room behind the panel as other spots along the way. I was concerned with the cable hanging from the rear camera but it actually hugs the headliner when the trunk door is closed so it's not in view when driving, so that's fortunate. The rear cable is also very long so there's a lot of stuffing of cable to make it all disappear but it seems like there was plenty of room for it behind the headliner. I have yet to comment on its durability and use over time since I just installed it but will update if I run across any problems, but so far so good. Read more

The front camera fit perfectly in place and the installation was very easy and did not need any adjustment once it was installed. The rear Camera was a bit more complicated but once you understand how to proceed it is much less daunting and actually pretty simple. Also, make sure that the rear camera is mounted and centered properly. The picture on both cameras is very clear, very happy with my purchase. Read more
