Maracas Hand Percussion Rattles Wooden Rumba Shaker Musical Instrument for Kids Adults Set of 2

I am a retired professional musician with an excellent ear, and teach piano to children and adults. With my kid students, I use these alongside other percussion instruments, giving them a choice of which they would like to use (or mix together) when we learn rhythm skills. Then we compare the tone colors of each instrument, as part of ear training. I really like these, finding the sound bright yet pleasingly mellow, both at the same time. I respectfully disagree with other reviewers who say that the sound is not professional and is lacking. Exactly what I like about them is the very nice tone, and this is important to me, as professionally-trained musician. Cute as a button these maracas are!! They make a tad more noise than I was expecting, which is good because I did not expect them to be very loud. And there not loud, but they have an adequate sound, especially for kids. The look nicely made, nicely painted- the colors are very attractive, and they're kinda cheap- so that's nice! Read more
