If you are looking for a basic treadmill model that is affordable and easy to set up, this is it! If you want fancy with incline capability, then maybe not. Despite its basic design, it has variable speeds up to 8 miles an hour, and keeps up with time, distance, and calories burned. It even has pre-programmed workouts and some other features I've never used. I just wanted a way to get my walking in every day without having to worry about weather and other distracting factors. It's quiet enough, you can watch TV while you exercise. By walking on this treadmill everyday and keeping an eye on my calories, I have lost 11 pounds in a little over 3 weeks, which is exactly what I was looking for. Unlike other models, this treadmill comes entirely pre-assembled. The hardest part is getting it out of the box, but once you do, all you have to do is unfold it and plug it in. I don't think I've ever been more satisfied with an Amazon purchase! Read more

My wife needed a treadmill to walk indoors. We originally tried another treadmill that was quite a bit more expensive than this one but had to return it twice due to mechanical failure. We decided to try this Marcy one out, and we have been nothing but impressed since we received it 6 months ago. I will break down the pros and cons for this product. Pros: -This treadmill works. I know this sounds silly, but after so many bad experiences with prior treadmills, and the headache of trying to pack them up and return them, this was the number 1 most important factor. We just wanted a treadmill that worked without breaking or failing within a few months of buying it. -This treadmill folds up. This treadmill is heavy and not exactly tiny, but amazingly it can fold up and fit into a closet upright. This was a major selling point for us because we live in a smaller house. It takes a little bit of strength to fold it up and take it down (my wife probably could not do it on her own), but it takes all of 1 minute to do carefully, so definitely worth considering. -This treadmill can do a slight incline. I know it is not mentioned in the description, but this treadmill has a fold down wheel section on the bottom that when flipped up allows it to have an incline (not sure on the percentage, but enough to give more of a burn). When flipped down, the treadmill is essentially flat. -This treadmill has a place to set your smartphone or tablet. Many of the cheaper treadmills we considered did not include this most basic of features. -This treadmill is easy to oil and maintain. The last treadmill we tried out was a pain to try to oil or adjust the belt. I have had no difficulty with oiling this treadmill's belt, and have had no need to adjust it. However, the adjusting process looks simpler than the last treadmill I had. -This treadmill feels sturdy. Some treadmills you get on and feel like the whole thing just wobbles the entire time you are on it. This feels solid. -This treadmill is quiet. Our last treadmill was noisy and sounded a bit like a plane taking off. This one runs pretty quietly and does not make any annoying noises. Cons: -There is no pause button. This seems like it would have been a no brainer to include, but if you want to get off you either have to leave it running or stop - erasing your time/distance, etc. -The outer casing on the front was slightly cracked when it arrived. Just a hairline crack that has not affected performance at all. I assume this would be covered under the warranty, but I have not gotten around to calling. -The place you set your phone covers the time/distance/calories display. Not a major inconvenience, but something to note. Overall, for the price, you cannot beat this treadmill. I do have to add that we have not used it much for running/jogging, so I cannot speak to how it performs at significantly high speeds. This treadmill may not have all the fancy features of more expensive models, but it gets the job done and it works. That is the most important of all to us. Read more

The treadmill malfunctioned after a year and five months and then stopped working after another few weeks. I reported the issues immediately as there was a 2 year warranty. Their customer service has been giving me the run around for six weeks. I still don’t have a refund. Amazon has been no help at all. Read more

Works well and no assembly required! It makes a loud beeping sound when turned on but beyond that it’s fairly quiet. Good range of settings. The box arrived extremely damaged, but thankfully only one part was broken on the arm of the machine, and everything still works. Beware this is extremely heavy for the average person. You may need help getting it out of the box. All in all well worth the price. Read more

I purchased the Marcy recumbent bike many years ago so I decided to stay with the same brand for the treadmill. Very pleased so far. Easy to set up and move if necessary. Worth the cost when compared to other treadmills. Read more

Track runs OK when at 4mph and lower but is inconsistent at higher speeds causing it to skip. After owning for just over a year I recommend only if you want to walk on flat surfaces. Read more

The treadmill was very easy to setup. It came in one box and was already assembled. After removing it from the box and styrofoam I was able to adjust it to its upright position and move it to my desired location with ease. The different modes were very straightforward and not complicated to adjust to fulfill my needs. Would recommend this as a great buy if you’re looking for a lighter, easily movable treadmill!
