I've tried a lot of different body washes and body soaps in my time, and this has got to be the best I've ever tried. I was absolutely shocked at how soft and smooth my skin felt (when used with an exfoliating sponge/mitt). I've seen such an improvement in skin after using it daily for one week. I have been using this product and the face toners for a really long time; I have to be careful because my immune system is fragile due to chemo. Some of the things I really love and desperately wanted to try (some ingredients just landed on the list of potential reactors so it's a real shame because at least while something terrible is going on; some treats to perk up your mood is always welcome. The last order, the bottle was smaller, but that wasn't the problem. It was in its own bag but more than half of the contents had already leaked out into the bag and plastic bag it arrived in. I could not use that as I have no idea who. how. or where any cross contamination could have occurred. Also shipping can sometimes make your product arrive a bit knocked about. I didn't get anywhere with Amazon (which was odd because they shipped and sold the product...and I have photos). Odd now I have to keep my excitement in check, hold my breath and wait to see what greets me in the boxes or envelopes. Excellent job!!!! It came in a large box; in its own bag (the large size) zero leakage and the shampoo & conditioner I also ordered in that box.... different story. Thank you, Amazon! Thank you, Mario Badescu. Very happy sick nurse. Oh, this body wash transforms dull, uneven skin, nourishes it and never feels stripped after my shower. Very light scent, lathers with just a touch of product, you do not need more that maybe two quarter sized dollops. I've had issues with bacne since puberty and would say I have normal/acne prone skin. I'm 22 and I've tried many things to help with my acne but never really had any results. I have to emphasize that anyone using this product should be aware that there is fragrance and that it should be used carefully. If you have sensitive skin, you may or may not want to avoid this - however, since the product is a wash-away product it may be okay. I do not have a before/after picture because nothing ever worked for my back and I was skeptical. Now I regret that. After using for the first time, I had some mild dryness and itching on my back. This wasn't anything too bad and easily solved using my CeraVe moisturizer. For the next few weeks I had little to no dryness on my back. That being said, I used this product two to three times a week in the shower using a back loofah and made sure to moisturize. Every other shower, I would wash my body with Dove sensitive skin body wash. Now that my skin seems to be well-adjusted to the product, I am planning to use it more often in the shower and see if my skin improves even more. As far as results go, I am extremely pleased with my skin. Not all of my acne is gone on my back but it is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. My skin feels smooth for the first time since I was 13. I am happy and much more confident. Is this product a holy grail? Not necessarily ... but to me it has started me off on the right foot. Once I finish this bottle I do not think I will purchase another, but instead see if an AHA body lotion is better for me. I think I would have had even better results if had drunk water frequently and tried to eat more cleanly (something I meant to do but failed at!). When I first saw the ingredients list, I grimaced. These ingredients are not the best for you. Personally, I would not plan to use this long-term but I think it's worth a shot for fellow bacne sufferers. Just be careful and moisturize often. UPDATE: This stuff seriously helped my acne issue so much. After over a year of use I’m finally out of product. I wouldn’t say it’s right for everyone, but I’ve really enjoyed it. I’ve used this coupled with an aha body lotion and my back is COMPLETELY clear. If I do get a breakout, it’s a small one that is much more mild. I’m free of irritation. My back hasn’t been back to normal since puberty. I’m so glad and will definitely be continuing this or another AHA body wash in the future. Read more

I absolutely LOVE this body wash! It has saved my skin. It makes you so soft and exfoliates dry flaky skin. I actually like this for my face too even though it is a Body Wash and I have sensitive skin. I think this has helped my skin look younger. The Mario Badescu AHA Botanical Body Wash has become my absolute favorite wash. I use it on all areas of my body, including the sensitive/intimate parts and I’ve never had a bad reaction. It cleanses very well and has cleared my body acne without drying out my skin. This body wash also helps to keep my pores unclogged and helps to avoid ingrown hair. Other body washes tend to clog my pores with “moisturizing agents” but this body wash is amazing at exfoliating. 10/10 highly recommended this body wash. Read more
