Comfy and warm, lightweight.

Feels to be decent quality, I like that they label it well on the inside. Packs very well. Read more

Awesome for what it is

Great bag. Very light weight but more than sufficiently warm. I slept in this bag and in a hammock for a mostly rainy damp week at scout camp in NH. The nighttime temperature often fell into the mid 50's. Never was I cold, and sometimes I had to open the bag up as it was too warm. I like how light weight the bag is and how it compresses into a really small bag. Good product, highly recommend. Read more

Definitely works as advertised!

I’ve owned one for a year and purchased another one for my wife. Mostly camping in High Sierras, Lake Tahoe and Yellowstone. Slept in 29F base layer+hat and was warm all night. When woke up I was surprised with little frozen water spots on the tent and how warm I felt inside of the sleeping back. Anytime I had to camp in 32F and above I was sleeping only wearing underwear and felt warm all night as well. The design of the bag doesn’t really have any negative sides, the YKK zipper, side pocket, extra room for legs and my favorite is the inner zipper cover filled with down. Tightening around your face area definitely helps with heat management. Sometimes I had to camp in higher temps and had no problem letting extra heat out and not sweating. Within one year found one downside: the bottom part of the sleeping bag has down sticking out very often and I have to pull it out every time. I almost thought that was normal but the other sleeping bag doesn’t have that problem. That is pretty much the only problem I’ve experienced so far. I was looking to upgrade my”ironwood” to “helium” but noticing my current problem with “ironwood” it makes me worried if I spend a lot of money and won’t be able to do anything if it’s not within 30 days. Other than that I definitely highly recommend this particular sleeping bag, it’s been through ~40 camping nights and still looks brand new, has high quality materials and perfect choice for tent/car camping or backpacking. Sleeping bag was used with 9.5r value pad. I’m 5’9” 180ilb. Purchased regular size. Read more

Light, Comfortable Material

Bought the regular size on sale for $140. Used it a few times now. I'm 6' 200lb muscular build in the regular. The height is perfect, if I was 6'1", probably a little cramped. The width is not for a muscular build... zipping ALL the way up is very hard to do. Luckily, my nordic blood makes me sweat at night, so I just leave it unzipped even if it's in the 40's and I'm fine. I've got another 0deg bag for anything freezing and under. Very comfortable material, lightweight, but doesn't come with a storage bag. I recommend buying a cheap cotton laundry sack to store it in, keeping the fill from compressing too much. Read more

I love this sleeping bag

This bag is so comfortable. It keeps me warm and snuggly whenever I use it. I do not believe it would be comfortable at 30 degrees outside. It was great at 40 degrees, wearing sweats. I love this sleeping bag! Read more
