I was an independent contractor for years and had a bag for everything—plumbing, electrical, windows, doors, you name it. I’ve gone through quite a few over the years, so I can usually tell right away if a bag is going to hold up or fall apart. This one isn’t the absolute best I’ve ever used, but it’s definitely better than many out there. The material feels thick and durable, and the overall build gives a good impression of quality. If you’re careful not to let sharp tools poke through the pockets, it should last for years. The stitching looks solid, the zippers feel sturdy, and the straps are well attached. The pocket layout is excellent—everything is easy to see and reach when the bag is opened up. It seems designed primarily for electricians, but it would also work great for HVAC, general maintenance, or any trade that needs a well-organized tool bag. There’s even a padded pocket for a laptop or other electronics that keeps it safe and secure. This is a spacious well-made construction site rough-and ready bag. It has plenty of room for cutters, screwdrivers, meters, etc. Stored in highly functional pockets/bands that make the tools easy to find and access. The Marscamd brand Electrician's Bag could be better labeled as a "technician's" bag. It's quite a bit larger than a standard laptop bag, so there is plenty of room to carry my portable electronics. Where this bag stands out most is the carrying capacity for support tools. I have loaded it up with my most frequently used electrical repair tools, my multimeter, and all of my computer servicing hand tools and digital meters. There is still room left, and it wouldn't be out of the question to fit my lunch in this thing too. There are lots of tool-holding loops, several large storage areas, and as a bonus, it includes a shoulder strap. I hate the look of a shoulder strap on men's bags, however this bag is heavy-duty, and I know I'll be loading it heavy, so the shoulder strap will get used. The zippers are of sturdy quality, and the canvas material will see years of abuse at my hands. I am expecting a long service life from a bag built as tough as this one. The price was low, at less than $50. I would have entertained acquiring a bag of this quality at any price below $100. I was so impressed with it that I went back on Amazon to see if Marscamd offers any other tool storage solutions, and they do! I am so happy with this bag that I am considering Marscamd's storage tote bag to use as a fishing tackle bag/box. If it is of help to you, I can cheerfully recommend this bag as a gift idea for anyone who is graduating technical school, or starting a trade career. This bag seems to be sturdy & well-made. It would be great for storing & transporting equipment for various professions that maybe require travelling and/or house calls. You are limited in what you can carry and the bag has various pockets that range from pen/pencil-sized to pliers or multi-tool-sized openings. Overall, it could be a useful, convenient bag for work and/or hobbies. Having said all of that, I ultimately had to return it because of they way they fold the bag in half and then vacuum seal it in plastic in an obvious attempt to save space on a truck and/or in a warehouse, which causes it to develop a permanent crease that makes it very difficult to manage or work with! The thick nylon & plastic material in/on the bag makes it nearly impossible to remove said crease and it quickly becomes annoying trying to fight the re-folding of the bag as you're trying to fill it! I went with a different option that's designed in such a way that it CAN'T be folded in half for shipping. Read more

This tool bag is much nicer than I expected. The fabric material is very thick and sturdy. I'm using this bag to replace an older flip top craftsman toolbox that I had been keeping all of my electrical related tools and supplies in. This bag doesn't take up much more space than the hard plastic toolbox does, but is able to fit quite a bit more in it, and does a much better job of keeping everything organized. I'm very impressed with the layout, and now that I'm loooking again at the product photos, I think there may be an entire pocket area that I haven't yet found; either that, or there are variations of this design that have different pocket layouts. If you're looking for a nice sized tool bag that is easy to carry, I'd definitely recomment this one. Read more
