Haven't owned it for very long, but it seems very durable and wont crack easily. I isn't very translucent, but it also serves its purpose well. I have a 6 foot wide desk and it provides plenty of coverage so I don't roll onto the carpet. Read more

There was a crack and piece missing when I received it but wasn't going to go through the trouble of returning it. I bought it to go underneath my bird cage so it was fine as is... it is durable like it states and easy to clean. Shipping packaging was nice so not sure how it got messed up. Read more
This mat is shipped flat and was easy to unfold. Mat is new at this point. Have had it in use for only two days so far. I only buy mats shipped flat, so this one qualifies. I generally favor mats with 4 and 1/2 stars or 5 stars provided there aren't one star reviews indicating that the mats will move or are not sturdy. But I always read the one star reviews because that's the only place where you will find out critical information such if the mats move or if they are sturdy and will break up. One thing I do with my mats is position them so they are held in place by a desk of computer desk to prevent them from moving around. Most mats offered for sale on Amazon do not have deep enough cleats to hold them in place, and that's why you see so many 1 star reviews. Read more
I had gotten this mat folded in the hopes that I wouldn't have as much trouble with getting it to lie flat as I would with a rolled-up one. And perhaps that is the case. But it definitely does still curl up after constant use. I had laid this flat at room temperature for a couple days with the aid of a mountain of college textbooks, as well as used a hair dryer to touch on problem areas (the corners and edges, the fold in the middle) before use. However, it has gradually been curling more and more over the past 2 months. If I am not careful, my office chair wheels may catch on the lift. It does show scratches on it from repeated motions, but they are not bright and noticeable from a distance, so this does not bother me. So far, it still serves me well - I just hope that it doesn't lift any further. After a year of use, I'm about to chuck it. The wheels of my chair catch constantly. I've tried flattening it again. I've tried switching the sides around. If you are going to get this mat, make sure to get one larger than the area you think you'll actually use. Read more
I got this to put under my Blue And Gold Macaws perch. Saves the carpet and this is easy to clean! Anyone who has a big parrot knows the messes they make! I’ve used everything and this works the best! And very durable! Read more
I use this under my desk and office chair in the living room. I weigh around 220 lbs and the chair rolls fine and has not left any dents in the plastic mat. It comes folded in half, which scared me at first, but when you unpack it, just fold it backwards and lay down on the carpet and start using it. I would recommend this for anyone and it is probably best for temporary situations because it would fold up. Read more
