This is a decent massage gun. It comes with many different attachments, but I personally only really like one (probably because I am pretty sensitive to hard pressure, and some target smaller areas at a time which feels like more pressure). It works well enough and does not shut down when pressure is applied (like others I have tried in the past have). It comes with a charging cord and does not take long to charge. I've pretty active. I hike, windsurf, cycle, and run. So I'm sore a lot. But I also get terrible tension headaches from a tight muscle in my shoulder, so I was really excited to get this. What set it apart from other massage guns was the heat/cold option, which is critical for me with knots. When I'm having a headache or migraine, I do not like percussive motion, so the key is to get that muscle to let go before a headache develops. What I like: The gun is very compact and easy to hold with one hand. I had another, but it took two hands to operate and was way too heavy. This one is 18oz and about 6 inches across the top. I also like that it has lots of different attachments to try for getting to the spot that hurts quickly - or just loosening up muscles post-workout. It also has six different speeds that you can adjust with still just one-handed operation. It's rechargeable and came with it's own cord. The attachments range from pin-point deep tissue massage to dispersed pressure massage, to foam ball, to of course, the heat/cool attachment. (see picture). The instructions don't say how to use the temperature attachments. I assume to make it cold I put in the the freezer for a while. It is not a soft rubbery tip, but a more firm vinyl-type of cover. For heat, there is a button on the handle that turns on a fire icon and you use the attachment with the silver disk. It only took about 30 seconds for it to heat up and it definitely felt pleasant. Unfortunately, the directions don't describe how to use one of it's main selling points (e.g. how do I cool the cooling attachment, for how long, can it go right on the skin or do I need clothing between my skin and the cold attachment?). I assume they're relying on common sense, but that's a flower that doesn't grow in everyone's garden. The instructions also don't really tell you what the attachments do or when to use them. (What is the "UV Crescent" and the "UV fascia" and how/when do I use them?) The directions DO say to make sure to charge it fully for 3hrs before the first use. And it includes lots of recommended times and reps for treatment of different muscles (listed by their proper names - so have some kind of reference guide ready) . The massage gun itself feels like it's good construction. It has good weight and the vibrating action is good. The different massage tips feel underwhelming - they're made of cheap-feeling plastic. They'll work and they'll probably hold up as long as the gun, but the feel and weight make them feel like Happy Meal toys. Overall, this is a great little travel-sized massage gun that would easily fit in your gym bag or travel bag and with six speeds and built-in heat function, it already has a lot more going for it than most massagers. And with so many attachments, its really easy to work on whatever is giving you trouble. ...I just wish it came with a nice person to operate it in that hard-to-reach shoulder spot that I can't reach myself. The biggest benefit of this massage gun is the compact size which makes it very easy to use. We have some massagers from years ago and they are about three times this size, and due to their clunkiness, there is no way to reach some areas of the body alone. Also, unlike my old massagers, this one is rechargeable so there is no need to sit or lay near an outlet. This device gives off a lot of vibration (six speeds) for the size! Apparently the charge can last up to two hours before needing a charge. There are so many heads that come with this — I cannot imagine using them all! One thing that surprised me is the only way to get “cold” is to put the blue head in the fridge for 20 minutes. And it appears that the only heads that conduct heat (with the heat button depressed) are the two silver ones. The plain black plastic ones are just massagers, and they are lightweight and inexpensive feeling. The directions state what you get, but don’t do a good job telling you what to use, when. I honestly would not know what to do with all the heads. I guess it’s nice to have variety to try out different heads to see what works for your issue.
