My wife and I tried three different massage guns before we found this one. The others that we tried were the more traditional pistol shape. They were all way too aggressive and it felt like they were beating the hell out of you making back pain worse rather than better. This massage gun performs with more of a "just right" feel. It also relives back pain surprisingly quickly. Very good build quality and not very loud. The only two things I would change is to make the grip area rubberized as it is a bit slick. I fixed that problem with rubber grip tape. The second change is that there is a silver metal side attachment where the point should face away from the patient rather than toward the patient when the wide flat rubber main part of the massager is in use. This machine is a well-made, less-expensive version of the machine many med pros use. I had a car accident 7 years ago that left me with neck, shoulder, back and hip pain that multiple chiropractic & massage professionals have not been able to alleviate. This machine has located and loosened deep tension and brought it to the surface with only a bearable amount of residual tenderness the next day. It has been able to touch pain that fingers, knuckles, elbows, forearms and other massage tools have not been able to reach or help me find without leaving me bruised, more tense and exhausted. The Vibrating Action of this oversized magic wand is by far the most effective way to therapeutically seek out problem areas and help the body release deeply embedded pain. It is SO MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE than percussion instruments of any kind that pound and leave you bruised. I'm getting back my range of motion. I can feel my muscles becoming more eligible to strengthen and my neck and shoulder pain has been reduced by 60-70% just since Christmas! *CAUTION: THE HEAD GETS HOT! The massage nodules can warm up which can also be an added benefit to the therapy. However, THE FLAT RUBBER TOP OF THE MASSAGE HEAD CAN REALLY HEAT UP & with too much pressure it can act like an eraser and rub skin away! I take responsibility because I was so eager to relieve my pain, that I know now, that I pressed too hard for too long. I wasn't able to tell the difference in the friction I was causing and the heat the machine was generating. This machine has an auto shut-off after 10 mins. of persistent use. You can start it again after a 5-10 mins. wait. Just be careful. START GENTLY. Worth the price! The fact that it’s not pounding like the other guns means you can safely use it on areas you wouldn’t want to with the other types of percussive massage guns, like on the spine, face, and head. I’ve shown it to friends and they agree. Read more

I have a massage gun (what I refer to as my "pounder"). This is a vibration machine so it is a different concept. Both help with pain and stiffness. I would not say they completely heal you as you have to use them over and over again, but hey, we live in a fallen pain filled world, so that can you expect? Inflammation is a lingering problem ultimately claiming our lives, but if we can lessen pain along the way, I am all for that. My one criticism of this device is that I wish it had a longer handle so that I could reach hard to reach places which I can do with my pounder as it has a much longer handle. Read more
