Master Appliance 35245 HG &VT Heat Gun Attachments 3-Pack

SJKDecember 21, 2013

I bought this three-pack of adapters to use with my Master HG-751-B heat gun. The adapters are made from stainless steel and the set includes a spreader, concentrator nozzle and deflector for things heat shrink tubing. There're not that bad, but are made in China, so as is often the case, some tweaking and reworking was needed to get them to work the way they were designed to since they would not properly slip over the end of the heating element located within the outer shroud as intended. I found that pounding the adapters over the end of a piece of 1-1/4" EMT with a hammer expanded and rounded them out just enough so they would then slide on and off the end of the heating element as intended, without a struggle. I also needed to clean up burrs and sharp edges of the adapters with a file. Overall, I'm happy with them even with the needed modifications. IMO, these adapters are overpriced, but really do add to the utility of your heat gun, so I feel they were worth the expense. Read more
