PIECE OF JUNK
BOUGHT THIS BACK IN FEBRUARY AND IT WAS SITTING IN THE BOX TILL 2 WEEKS AGO. ( I HAD ANOTHER HEAT GUN THAT I USED TILL IT WENT BAD). THIS HEAT GUN HAS A PLASTIC HOUSING, BUYER BEWARE IF YOU USE IT LIKE I DO ON EVERY JOB. WHICH I MIGHT DO 10-15 PAINT REPAIRS A DAY ON VEHICLES. THIS HEAT GUN IS PRACTICALLY NEW AND THE HEATING ELEMENT WENT OUT ALREADY. I'VE BEEN USING MASTER HEAT GUNS FOR A LOT OF YEARS AND THEIR QUALITY HAS GONE DOWNHILL THE PAST 5YRS. VERY FRAGILE FOR THE PRICE THEY ARE CHARGING. I AM VERY CAREFUL USING THIS HEAT GUN BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T AND BUMP IT AROUND A LOT, IT WON'T LAST AS LONG AS THEY USED TOO. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I USED TO PAY $59 A FEW YEARS AGO AND THEY LASTED AT LEAST A YEAR WITH HEAVY USE. NOW WE PAY $180 AND THEY LAST IN SOME CASES 2 WEEKS, AND I HAVE SOME THAT HAVE FAILED RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. TO BE FAIR, I HAVE HAD SOME LAST 9 MONTHS, BUT VERY FEW. Read more
