I was kind of confused as to what to expect from a daylight bulb. I needed a little extra light in the bathroom as soft white was not lighting it up well enough. I debated whether I needed to go from the equivalent of 60W bulbs to 75W or if a 60W daylight bulb would do the job. It did not exactly. It does not light up any more area it just lights it differently. The shadows now seem to be more lit than they were before with a soft white bulb. When I am looking at something I feel like it’s more focused and clearer. In the areas of my house that are not regularly used I installed these and all I can really say is they don’t feel so dreary when I turn the light on and enter now. I don’t know exactly how to say to say it for those like myself that have never experienced a daylight bulb. They don’t really light any more than their equivalent in other light types. It’s just a different kind of light. That don’t really explain it because it does light things better within it’s scope. Reading something for example where you may have strained under a soft white light will be easier under this type of light. Something at the edge of it’s reach that was in shadows will still be at it’s edge but slightly more lit than shadow. If you need an extra foot or two the same wattage in a daylight bulb is not going to do it you still need a higher wattage bulb to get light to it. It’s a good light for somewhere that you want to be more alert/focused not so much for someplace that you would to relax. Read more

This is a Mastery Mart product, but for some reason I thought it was "mystery mart." Silly me. The product is UL listed and labeled - so I am assured, and they tell you (on the package label) that it is sold exclusively on Amazon. The price was good (I am master buyer on price and quality convergence), and the product appears to be fine. You get the typical efficient packaging. You never know how long these things actually last (few of those pricey CFL bulbs met the duration specs), but one can only hope, as time will tell. I have gotten the dreaded LED "flicker" with a house brand from THE big store retailer who shall remain nameless, so there's no reason not to go with a Mastery Mart product and hope for the best. At least one bulb I tested is working fine, and it is visually indistinguishable from another leading LED brand I bought on Amazon. This company has been selling into the US and Canada markets for some years, so I hope it's the beginning of a long relationship with their products. Read more

These high efficiency led bulbs are spectacular. For a 60W bulb the brightness is amazing. They truly are brighter than a regular 60W bulb and have a nice soft glow. They're light bulbs! They're made of glass, they have a white "cap" on them, and they screw into sockets. Yes, they work great and can be used in lamps and ceiling lights. Is there anything else to say? LOL I especially like using them in a dark room when I can't see well. I pull the string or flip the wall switch and 'voile' ... LIGHT! They're amazing!
