I pulled my yoga mat out of the basement after not using it for a while, and the elastic holder/handle wasn't elastic anymore. I was going to make a new one myself, but I'm glad I found this one, since it's way better than what I would have made, and it was less expensive than the materials I needed! It took me a minute to figure it out, even with the directions, but I'm not very bright. Now that I get it, it's easy. I like the little rubbery grip on the strap, as that helps it hold the mat securely. This would hold any size or thickness of mat.
