I recently started a new job in which I'm required to dress business casual. So I ordered myself a pair of these and I was happily surprised that they for great. They are an athletic fit with a low waist which makes them feel more like a Tailored pair so the fit isn't for everybody. And for the price of these you just can't beat it. Highly recommend! These fit super well. They are also very cheap and high quality. The length was perfect and the waist fights good if you know what size you are. BE WARNED: they are TIGHT. But I liked this because that was the look I was going for - tight is fashionable. However, if you have very large quads these will probably suffocate your legs. They're hard to sit down in for long periods of time if you're not used to tight pants. Overall they're very durable (I wore them out a lot while studying abroad) and super good value for the price. Fits perfectly for my style. I came back and bought 5 more in other colors. The fabric is smooth and not itchy at all - it feels like its tough enough to withstand daily activities at work (I work in IT). My waist is 30 and it fits how I would expect it to fit. Bought these in the "army grey" colour, which is 100% cotton. Out of the package they fit great - I'm 5'11" and wear a 32 in most modern brands with either a 32 or 34 inch inseam, depending on where the waist sits, and the waist and length were spot on for me. I liked them so much I wore them three days in a row right after receiving them, and thought I might have found a new favourite pair of pants. Then I got some mud on them while walking in the rain, and washed them in cold water on the gentle cycle. Left them to dry overnight, and put them back on - they still fit in the waist, but had shrunk at least an inch in length. Now I have a pair of ridiculous highwaters that I wouldn't be caught dead wearing in public, which particularly stinks since I was hoping to wear these to work in a business-casual University environment. A colleague who designs and makes theatre costumes says that the shrinkage was probably caused by the factory failing to launder the cotton cloth before cutting and sewing it. If you're on the shorter side, I guess you could give these a shot, launder them once, and then get them hemmed to true length. Since I needed all the length they came with I can't possibly wear these again as pants in public; I'll either use them for housework and painting or cut them and have them hemmed into walking shorts so they're not a total waste, but will be going back to the mall for Banana Republic and J.
