This is a million times better than the regular, clear plastic bags that you can buy at U-Haul. They are a very sturdy tarp material that includes handles. And it is a zip closure, so it completely protects the mattress from dust, dirt, and debris. The handles are such a game-changer, making it so much easier to move a big floppy mattress around. I have 2 mattresses: one queen, one king. The queen size fit the queen and the king size fit the king, both had a little wiggle room as well, so I didn't need to strain to stuff the mattress into these bags. I recently used this during a move, and the professional movers that helped me were happy I had this on my mattress - they said they've seen them a lot and they also really like them. Coming from a professional, I think it's a really good sign that they appreciated it. Yes, it's more expensive than your standard plastic cover, but it actually works to protect the mattress. These are excellent and it's worth a few dollars more to get this quality. They are a tarp-like material - think enough for a serious move. And the handles are well stitched and easy to use. I needed a tarp like cover to wrap our king mattress so we can throw it off the balcony because who wants to lug that thing downstairs? Haha jk it actually didn’t fit to go downstairs so we had to throw it off. It protected it very well and didn’t even damage the tarp. A great review would have been to video the mattress being thrown off but I wasn’t thinking lol. The straps are tough and really built in. The tarp is thick and is great quality. These mattress covers are so much better than any of the clear ones I've ever purchased, even the 'thick' ones. The handles are well attached and so... handy! They're decently thick, but will get holes if you scoot the mattress across pavement vs picking it up from the handles (thanks, son! Lol) however. This bag makes moving matresses as easy as possible. It unzips halfway making it super easy to get the matress in. The size is generous enough to contain the matress and its durable reinforced vinyl makes it strong enough to lift up by the straps.
