My daughter purchased this mug for her father. He loved the mug. It is made of a nice ceramic. The writing is very easy to read. The cup is easy to hold. He got a laugh out of the saying. Fun mug to give as a gift. I have put in the dishwasher several time and no issues with the lettering. My husband does put this mug in the microwave to warm up water for his tea.
