AUG 2, 2023 REVIEW UPDATE: So I have been wearing these sunglasses everyday and have had them for exactly 2 months and am now passed the return window so I need to address the issue. The left screw that holds the sunglasses together has fallen out and I had to purchase an eyeglasse repair kit from drugstore to replace the little screw. Two months of owning them and that happens. Not a big deal and is repairable however the screws no longer match. No option to contact seller for parts. May need to contact Maui Jim. Maui Jim is the only brand I wear. So worth the price. I have many different styles however this is my favorite. They remind me of 70's retro with the oversized frame. The color is perfect. They are lightweight and have the patent polarized lenses that only Maui Jim offers. No lenses compare to Maui Jim. They came with one day shipping so got them quick. I highly recommend these to anyone. I have a slender face and these look amazing. Coverage is perfect. Read more

Update- two screws fell out of these glasses the first day of wear. One is lost and the other won't stay in. It's like it's stripped. Poor quality for Maui Jim's. Expensive too. Returning them These Maui Jim's are a good weight, have nice large lenses, but are on the pricey side! Nearly $400 for wire framed sunglasses. Overall I gave a very high rating. Read more

These Pua Sunglasses serve as my introduction to the Maui Jim brand. I'm impressed! Firstly, I really appreciate that these sunglasses are made in Italy. I go out of my way to support companies who choose to manufacture domestically and in Europe, a region with one of the most stringent worker, material, and environmental safety standards. My first impression of these sunglasses was informed by their packaging. The sunglasses come in a branded cardboard box and include a black case that unfolds. These are nicely presented but for the price, I'd prefer a more protective zippered case. I'm a very outdoorsy person with light eyes who lives in the high desert - sunglasses with lots of protection are a must for me. Polarization is also a must for me to reduce glare - very happy that these have that feature. I chose the "Pink Tortoise W/Rose Gold/Maui Rose" color and I love the look. The tortoise is very classic but paired with the rose gold frames and rose tinted lenses makes for a unique and beautiful combination. These have a very fun and feminie style that I love. Not one for overt branding, I'm happy that these have very subtle gold "Maui Jim" lettering on the top of the right lens. In terms of fit, I'm a woman with a small head and high cheekbones. I often find eyewear difficult to fit. Now, these are quite oversized on me but the bottom of the frames only minimally touch my cheekbones. The nose pads' lightweight nature makes for a comfortable fit. I'm really happy with the fun and unique oversized look of these Pua Sunglasses from Maui Jim and highly recommend them! Read more
They are absolutely stylish, such a high quality and look very nice with any outfit. To be completely honest they look much better in person than actual pictures. Very cool kind of look that makes me feel younger. Definitely great for my eyes as they tend to hurt when I spend all day outside, this glasses provided me with 100% protection and clarity! I ordered these Maui Jim’s in the Black With Gold/Neutral Grey Polarized lens and am over the moon pleased with them! I’ve worn them daily since they arrived and they’re very lightweight and comfortable, I can’t even feel I have them on my face they’re so light! These glasses are beautiful, but I too fell victim to the terrible screw situation like so many others. I only got to wear them twice, and when I took them off after wearing them for the second time, I noticed that the frame on the right side was doing something weird. I realized that the screw holding the frame together on the right side had fallen out, and the frame was becoming dislodged from the groove around the lens. It= am extremely disappointed because Maui Jim charges a $15 processing fee to fix it, plus you have to pay your own shipping just to get the product to them. For a premium brand like this, you would think they would repair these free of charge and also pay the shipping for the repair. Read more
