These little 5 ml bottles are soooooo pretty. The pearl finish is a nice touch to the light pastel colors. I am still partial to an amber or cobalt blue glass as I do believe they filter the light the best and keep your essential oils safe from degradation. But the information on this page indicates that these bottles do protect your blends from UV light. By having the various colors to choose from, this can help you quickly differentiate between various blends you may have made. I love the fact that the package comes with a swiss key. You can never have too many of those swiss keys floating around as they are such an aid to help you pry off the roller tops from the bottles. Not only that, the key is a great aid to make sure that you get the roller fitment on the bottles securely. I somehow have one bottle missing a cord. I am not sure if my package arrived that way or I somehow misplaced the cord when I was looking at the bottles. It would be great if the package came with an extra cord or two. I agree with another reviewer in that it may not be ideal to attach a bottle to your keys. However, I think these bottles could be easily added to a lanyard and worn around your neck for easy access. If you have severe seasonal allergies, wear an allergy blend. If you work in a daycare/school, maybe an immunity blend is important for you to reapply multiple times a day. If you get headaches or migraines easily, maybe wearing a migraine/headache blend may be useful. Another idea for the cords is use them to "hang up" your roller bottles. I have roller bottles on my desk at work. If I get too busy with too many papers, I usually knock over at least one bottle that then knocks over two more bottles. Desk space is valuable, so I could take push pins and hang these bottles from my cubicle wall or a bulletin board. Voila! No more knocked over bottles. In the past, I have given away 10 ml roller bottles to people who are new to essential oils. I usually fill up the bottle the full 10 mls, but that gets expensive after awhile. These 5 ml sizes are more ideals as I am not out nearly as much product. I also think 5 ml or smaller are better for personal use as sometimes I don't use certain roller bottle blends fast enough before the carrier oil starts getting sticky. Other Mavogel roller bottles come with labels, but this set does not. I have found that using freezer tape is easier to label the bottles anyway as I have to write so small to use the other labels, that if oil gets spilled on the label, I can't read it. It's not a huge loss that labels are not provided. This set comes with 4 small transfer pipettes. These are helpful as the openings to the bottles are smaller than the 10 ml size. A funnel may have been useful, but I don't know how easily that could cause the bottle to fall over when mixing your blends. Perhaps utilizing a nail polish rack would be useful to keep your bottles upright when mixing. These bottles are well packaged. Each bottle is protected in a sleeve of bubble wrap. I appreciate the fact that the cords are already attached to the lids. That's less work for me when it comes to overall assembly. Read more

I love essential oils, just like about half the public these days, and I'm always looking for new roller bottles for our little concoctions. my kids are constantly losing the blends that we make for them, so these little bottleswith the little strings attached to the lids are perfect. They hang on their backpacks so they can use them at school or while we're out on a little hike. they also loved the colors so much! They were super excited to be able to put each one of their blends in a different color according to which oils they were putting inside. The bottles are the perfect size and easy to use. the roller balls are easy to install on the bottles and after a little bit of work rubbing them back and forth the oils come out easily and evenly. I would definitely recommend these to anybody who likes to gift oils or has children in fact I'll be using them that myself I'm excited to have a couple in my purse with little strings that I can just pull out.
