I needed this to plug in a light fixture in a china hutch. The hutch is pushed up to the baseboard and the outlet is directly in the middle of the hutch. A standard wall plug will not fit in this small of an area. However, this Flat Plug is perfect! It hugs the wall and allows the cord to rotate so that it is pointed upward to reach the top of the hutch without an issue. I was able to get this in the correct length so there is very little extra cord to contend with. Sturdy and well made. I highly recommend this for those tight space applications. We bought two of these. A longer one that goes under a rug, and a shorter one to go behind a bookcase. Both work great. The cable is flat, making it easy to manipulate for what we wanted to do. The plug is non-descript, not noticeable, allowing the cable to hug the wall below it.
