Ordered on December 27, 2025 and the return window closed on January 27, 2026. Yesterday, the lid stopped closing and the AirPods fall out of the case in my pocket. I checked product support on the seller’s page and the first item is lids won’t close. None of the provided responses will fix this issue. The media could not be loaded. Pros - I like the color. It is “ Dewalt” yellow (like tohe tool manufacturer). It’s easy to see. It has a sturdy lanyard holder which allows me to use a lanyard that’s high visabikity. I was constantly losing the OEM case. The case increases the size of the OEM AirPod case just enough to give it some size and weight to help you keep track of it as well, but not too much to be troublesome. The magnet that helps the case’s cover pop open when you release the latch is strong and works as intended. The case does NOT interfere with wireless charging while laying on a flat surface. The materials of the case it self appears sturdy and hold up to use. Cons - The latch “button” that allows the case to open and no longer stays shut. It is very annoying because your pods can fall out and those around you get notified that their is AirPods near buy to attach to when the case opens in your pocket unknowingly. I attempted to gently clean both the bottom portion of the latch and the lip that it connects with, thinking crud or fuzz was the problem, however, this did not correct the issue. I really wanted to like this product and I do, except for the failing latch. I would not recommend anyone buy this product as the latch issue refers it useless in most senses. I assume over time the lip that the latch connects with rounds off due to the material being too soft and then cause the latch to release. I give it two stars instead of one star, because I like the color and aesthetics of the case. Read more
