However, my experience wasn’t perfect. Right out of the box, the scooter was missing one of the screws for the handlebar latch, which means it doesn’t fully latch the way it should. It’s still rideable, but it definitely affects confidence in the build quality. For something meant to be folded and unfolded regularly, that missing hardware is a pretty big oversight. Performance has also dipped faster than expected. After only about ten uses — and with a rider under 75 pounds — the top speed in sport mode has dropped by roughly 7 mph. That’s a noticeable difference, especially when one of the selling points is the higher speed capability. It still works, but it’s disappointing to see that kind of decline so quickly. Despite these issues, the scooter does have a lot going for it: solid range, comfortable ride, easy folding mechanism, and a good feature set for commuting or casual riding. If the quality control were a bit tighter and the performance held steady longer, this would easily be a 5‑star product.
