The multiple speed modes are a great touch — being able to switch between 9, 16, 19, and 22 mph makes it versatile for both adults and bigger kids. The app control is surprisingly useful too, letting you adjust settings, lock the scooter, and monitor battery life without digging through menus on the scooter itself. However, my experience wasn’t perfect. Right out of the box, the scooter was missing one of the screws for the handlebar latch, which means it doesn’t fully latch the way it should. It’s still rideable, but it definitely affects confidence in the build quality. For something meant to be folded and unfolded regularly, that missing hardware is a pretty big oversight. Performance has also dipped faster than expected. After only about ten uses — and with a rider under 75 pounds — the top speed in sport mode has dropped by roughly 7 mph. That’s a noticeable difference, especially when one of the selling points is the higher speed capability. It still works, but it’s disappointing to see that kind of decline so quickly. Despite these issues, the scooter does have a lot going for it: solid range, comfortable ride, easy folding mechanism, and a good feature set for commuting or casual riding. If the quality control were a bit tighter and the performance held steady longer, this would easily be a 5‑star product. Short review: I'm 65 and I've never had an E- Scooter, ( I have an E-bike ) but my neighbor has one and it looked like fun. I bought this one because it looked nice and had good reviews-and a great price. It arrived very quickly...in perfect shape..packaged super nicely/securely. Very easy to put together..just 4 screws where you put the handle bar in. A good quality tool comes with the screws to install ( screws have locktite on them so they will never get loose )..super simple to put them in...and it's nice there are 4 screws because they lock the handle bar securely in place. The control panel is very easy to use..nice big POWER button..one push and it's turned on..another push turns on the lights and you're ready to go! You can download an App on you're phone for more features..BUT THE SCOOTER WORKS WITHOUT THE APP if you want it. All the materials fit and finish appear to be high quality. The battery comes fully charged..so I took it out for a ride immediately after putting on the handle bar. The controls are great! Easy to use AND I HAD A GREAT TIME RIDING IT. It runs smoothly and it's easy to balance..it has nice power and went up a small hill no problem. Love it!!!! 10 out of a 10! The instruction book ( just like EVERY OTHER INSTRUCTION BOOK ) is small with small print but it works. And truthfully I don't think most people would even need it, unless you want to use the App).
