These were really easy to install-I thought I'd try the self-stick tape that is on them but was a little unsure how well they would stick. They stuck GREAT! In fact you want to make sure as your getting ready to put them in their final position for fastening that that's where you want them to go because once stuck down they are stuck-very impressed. The lights themselves are nice and bright-we got the brighter ones(daylight light??) and really like them and the remote control is a very nice option-we haven't used the timer feature yet-we either turn them on when needed or just leave them off. Another feature I really liked is that each light has it's own separate plugin so you can use just one, two or all three. Overall, I'm happy with this product, but I do have a few disclaimers if you're planning to connect multiple lights together (i.e., buying multiple sets and connecting 7 or more lights). I initially found that 6 lights weren’t enough, so I decided to purchase two sets (12 lights) to connect them. However, if you buy two sets (12 lights), you can only connect a total of 10 lights. Each set comes with 6 pieces: 1 end piece, 1 front piece, and 4 connecting lights. The 4 connecting lights are interchangeable and can be connected to an existing Maylit light system. I do wish they sold additional connecting pieces separately, so I wouldn’t have to purchase an entirely new set just to extend the connection (since the front/end pieces go unused). You might be able to connect more than 10 lights (you would have to buy 3 sets), but I didn’t test that. Another issue I encountered was quality control. I purchased 4 sets of lights for use in my closets and cabinets, but had to exchange 2 of them due to quality issues. The first issue was that the light colors didn’t match (see pic). After exchanging the product, this was resolved. The second issue was with the connectors. When connecting multiple lights, I found that some products had different types of connectors (see pic). One set had a male-female connector (front to end), while another had a female-male connector (front to end). This caused a problem because the M-F set couldn’t connect to the F-M set. I ended up exchanging again to get a set matching M-F. My concern would be In the future if want to buy another set to connect and it was not the correct end connection If you are using just one set, you should be ok. However if you are buying multiple sets with plans on connedt together, be prepared to possibly return some products until you get the right ones. The company has a lenient return policy, so I was able to exchange without any issues. Overall, I like the lights. I appreciate the ability to change the color temperature (from warm white to daylight white). The lights aren't the brightest, but they work well as closet lights and under-cabinet lights. They didn’t include enough sticky tape, but the lights are lightweight enough that you can use Scotch tape to hold them up (I ended up doing that for a few). For the price, it’s a good product. Just be aware that if you’re buying multiple sets, you may end up returning and buying again. You can also purchase extension tubes separately, which I found to be helpful. Was extremely happy with this purchase of lights. I was looking for something to backlight some of our favorite sets of Lego. I wanted lights that were soft, adjustable and had a multitude of colors. These are great! The light strips have adjustable brightness and very easy to install. The adhesive works wonders, and the cord clips are perfect to tuck them into small spaces. Had this product two years. The light bar itself works exactly as it should. Easy install and nice light quality - bright but not too bright. Battery life on remote is fine but the remote has since died and will not work with light strip. This is frustrating for us. (3 stars not 5). Light does make any noise. Read more

These lights are perfect for a kitchen setup. They are not extremely bright on their own, but if you place two under a longer counter and one under a smaller one, they provide enough illumination for most cooking tasks. For very delicate food preparation, you might still want a brighter light source, but for everyday use these work well. They also look nice and help brighten up corners. I connected eight lights instead of six on one side, and four instead of six on the other side, and everything still works fine. The power adapter does get a little warmer with eight, but it continues to perform without issues. I also used extension cables and soldered the four-prong cable (though three would have been enough) directly onto the white cable. This allowed me to pass the cable through very small holes drilled into the cabinets. The cable itself is very thin, which makes soldering a bit challenging, but with the right equipment it’s completely doable. Read more
