These should come factory

While this was a very involved install the fact that we go through a xbox controller a year because of stick drift is crazy. With these I hope to keep using my favorite one well into the years. The sticks feel OEM once installed and I cant tell the difference which is perfect. Read more

A good upgrade.

It's day one with these installed and I definitely feel like I'm having better experience so far. The real measure of hall effect joysticks, however, is the longevity improvements and it's too early to tell how these are going to hold up. I feel like these are well made and going to outlive the rest of my controller, but I'll update this review if that ends up not being the case. Installation wasn't too bad, but does require some experience with soldering and de-soldering. If you're not well versed in these, I'd highly encourage you to practice on some junk electronics: namely de-soldering components without ripping the traces or contact pads off the board. I'd also recommend watching someone on YouTube do the mod on your same model of controller before you attempt it yourself. This will help you learn from other people's mistakes which is always a valuable experience (I mean -- isn't that the reason you're reading reviews in the first place?). Read more
