I was prepared to ding this item for chintzy materials/construction, but honestly? It feels pretty solid. The fake leather does maybe look a little cheap, but it's applied well—it has a snakeskin embossing that is not only mimicking the actual different scales patterns on different parts of the snake, but actually places those different patterns thoughtfully, like a real leatherworker would. That's impressive. The box is made of MDF, so it feels very heavy and robust (MDF isn't actually that robust, but it sure does feel like it, and it's better than particle board anyway.) Certainly sturdy enough to sit in a walk-in closet for its entire life. The multiple rotation settings are great functionality and straightforward to set up. The storage capacity is frankly more than I'll ever need. The LED light is meh, but switch it off if you don't like it. It would be nicer if you could control the color/intensity and there were maybe a few more lights in the box. But it's fine. TLDR: If you're a watch person with a collection this big, you probably have cash to burn. But if you spent all your cash on the watches, this box does a pretty great job pretending to be as fancy and expensive as the watches it stores, while being a much better value. Read more

I am coming from dual/single watch winders (mcbazel and non-mcbazel) to this mcbazel 6 auto watch winders plus 6 storage cases. So far this 6-watch winder has the most features I’ve seen on a winder. 1) 2 motors - 3 watches each. The right one can be turned on/off using one of the switch in the back 2) open the door and it automatically stops the motors. Close the door and it runs again. Fantastic! 3) open the door and the LED turns on! Very functional feature so when you want to grab a watch but dont want turn on the room light, this feature is perfect! 4) something i’ve never noticed on my other winders: the led activates the lumen of my watches. Superb! 5) i can finally store my quartz and solar watches in the same case as my automatics! Now for my wishes: 1) i wish the led light would also charge my solar watch so i dont have to charge it in the sun by the window. 2) the shape of cushions for the winders forces you to place your watches in a funny way. It does not confirm to the bracelet’s oval shape because it has angled edges instead of curved. 3) the cushion for the storage is only soft on the top and bottom sides. This unfortunately limits the type of watch you can store here. My seiko coutura sized for 7” wrist doesnt fit here so i have to place it on one of the winders even though the watch is solar charged. Looks is standard as most winders I give it 4/5 - boxy so nothing special Value is great! 5/5 - you wont find a 6+6 watch auto winder with this much functionable features Storage capacity is perfect 5/5 Overall if you have a decent amount of watch auto, quartz, solar… this mcbezel is perfect.
