The English Toffee Finishing Sugar may be the best thing I’ve ever tasted. It truly is delicious. It tastes just like what I thought it should taste like. As an English Toffee lover, I am sitting here thinking of all the things I can use it with. Tonight I made some toast with butter, and topped it with this sugar. Then I made a cup of coffee. I put in some creamer, and instead of my regular sugar, I used this instead. Perfection. I think it would be awesome with bagels, English Muffins, and even as an ice cream topping. If you wanted to add a little something on top of frosting on a cake ir cupcakes, I think this would definitely give it a bit of extra flavor and a little texture. It’s not too sweet in my opinion, but definitely sweet enough. So I’m finding I don’t need to sprinkle a lot to get the desired flavor. Funny side note to my review - as a kidney stone sufferer, when I opened the bottle it looked so much like a small kidney stone. The color was identical, and as I mentioned, the sugar has a little crunch. like regular sugar. DO NOT let my kidney stone comment deter you. You will not be thinking about kidney stones when you taste it. You very well might be thinking you landed in Heaven. I absolutely cannot wait to try all the flavors.
