I’m very pleased with this wrist brace. I’ve developed tendonitis in my right wrist and this brace immobilizes it completely. I wear it when I sleep. It is comfortable. I like the design, the fit is perfect; size large for my 7.5 inch wrist. The lacing system secures it evenly across the main part of the brace. This brace is highly supportive; for me, bedtime only. I bought two additional braces with moderate support that I use around the house and at work; the Neo G and the Rehabz, both flexible but supportive nonetheless. I highly recommend all three of these wrist supports. My wrist feels better and I’ve only been using them for less than a week. I purchased this after suffering a broken wrist. After the cast first came off, I used this while showering. I was concerned of slipping and didn’t want to injure my still healing wrist which would necessitate another six weeks in a cast. I shattered my wrist in a cycling accident back in 1994. Since then I have had to wear a wrist brace overnight to limit the pain from the break and from one of the pins rubbing on a major nerve. Many braces these days have plastic stays that cannot be reshaped. The position those force the wrist into is very painful for me. I must have a brace with aluminum stays, such as this one uses, so I can adjust the angle to one my wrist likes. This brace is also cut a bit lower on the hand so it doesn't put as much pressure on the MCP joints (where the finger meet the palm). That matters for me as my hands are affected by psoriatic arthritis. Anyway, I've been using this brace since, I think, 2002. Obviously I like it. I purchased this particular splint because of the reviews and I can't say I love it but by this time of night my fingers are usually numb so it must be helping. I like the overall design as it feels evenly firm across the whole hand/wrist whereas some that have individual straps don't feel as comfortable to me. What I don't like is that the thumb strap is strangely long. If I set that one first and place the main strap over it, it doesn't lay right. If I do the main strap first and then the thumb, it is too long and catches on things. Yes, I know I can just cut it but it just is a nuisance. I do wear a cast/splint cover over it and that makes sleeping without catching it on my blanket or sheets much nicer.. Read more

These are the splints my neurologist recommended I wear for sleeping. I have carpal tunnel disease with permanent nerve damage in each hand. They are fairly comfortable for a brace on your hand that contains a chunk of metal. The brace keeps your hand in the proper position while you sleep so you awaken with less hand pain. I find the braces designed for a specific hand to be far more comfortable than those designed to fit either hand. The only downside is you may have to cut off any excess Velcro to keep it from sticking to fuzzy sheets and blankets. If you wear a CPAP, you may wake up with your hand stuck to your head. I've had more than one bout with carpal tunnel, so I've owned a number of braces, all bought locally. I never bought a "cheapie" so all worked fine, satisfactorily. This particular one was recommended by the physical therapist I was seeing to heal a fracture. It is by far the best brace I've ever owned. The construction is solid. It is comfortable. The size works well as advertised, and the adjustable feature lets it be customized to be "just right." I recommend it highly. If I have to buy another, I'll order another one just like it.
