Definitely looking forward to cosplay- everything is exactly as I wanted it. I absolutely love the shoulder piece it was pretty easy to put together. The leather holders are also really nice quality and the potion bottle is actually made of plastic so you don’t have to worry about it breaking. The fabric shroud is super soft and light which I really like and it also came with two clips to hold it in any fashion you would like. However the gauntlets are just a tad too big making them feel slightly loose (like a cm or two off) even when the strings are tightened all the way but I can make due. I didn’t try the belt only because I had gotten a different one for the look I was going for but it is nice quality as well. If it’s too big the adjustment is simple. The only thing that I struggled with was the first shipment - I wanted black and had gotten brown instead however the company and Amazon was pretty quick about sending me the correct package after I requested so I’m pretty happy with the outcome. Got for Renaissance costume. Gauntlets are rly good, kinda hard to lace up and for me there was a lot of extra but I just tucked it in. They look rly good tho. Belt is lacking a bit in quality but it functioned well and looked pretty good. It’s rly long so account for that. The pauldron wasn’t trust good quality, worse than the gauntlets at least but it wasn’t terrible. It keeps its shape but arrives flat so plan for shaping if u want to do that. The straps on it are really long and did g get as tight as I needed them so it was kinda loose and I had to tuck in the extra a lot. There’s better ones out there but this is probably the best for this price. The cloth is rly soft actually and doesn’t shed like it looks like it would. This was perfect armor for an Assassin’s Creed inspired Halloween costume! We paired the set with a solid black cloak, black underclothes, and some toy weapons to complete the look and my 12 year old loved it. I purchased for a 12 year old who is 5’ 1” and 110# (wears an adult small or youth extra large) and the shoulder armor fit very well on the tightest notch with plenty of extra belt material so it is adjustable and would fit someone larger if needed. The belt wrapped around his waist twice, again, with plenty of belt to spare but not enough to wrap a third time. The belt piece is large enough that it would fit an adult well also. The arm pieces come flat with the laces separate, so before wearing you’ll have to lace them up, but I felt like this added to the authenticity of the armor! My son loved that the toy daggers (purchased separately) fit inside, similarly to the AC video game. We’ll keep the set for Ren Fest use in the future! Would absolutely recommend! Read more

It’s a decent assortment of accessories for a ren faire outfit. I split the accessories with a friend since I already had some items or didn’t need all of them for my outfit. The belt is definitely big enough either for a large person or to loop around for a fun look and can be trimmed with sharp shears for a clean edge if you need to. The shoulder piece and the bracers are pretty stiff and have a strong synthetic smell to them, but that’s nothing that airing them out and flexing them a good bit won’t fix. The bracers are definitely meant for a medium sized arm. They wouldn’t fit on my friend at all, who’s a pretty big guy, and loose on me even with the laces taut. I ultimately lined them with Sherpa to make them more snug -and comfortable- and wore them. You could probably get longer laces though if they’re too small, and you have to lace them yourself with the cord provided anyways, so it’s not a big deal. The cord provided is just raw cut, so you might want to wrap the tips on tape or burn them to seal the edges so they don’t fray while you lace though. The shoulder armor piece is a bit of an odd size. It was too small for my friend and too large for me. Because I didn’t have the time, I didn’t use it at all, but I plan to alter it to fit me. Also the straps are a bit awkward to buckle yourself. All of the belt accessories were nice looking. The bottle holster is a bit of a flimsy pleather, so I wouldn’t trust it to hold more than the decorative plastic bottle it came with and something light inside of it, like a string of LEDs or colored resin -definitely not a glass bottle filled with liquid, lol. I also wouldn’t fill the plastic bottle it came with with liquid. Since the cork it came with is pretty thin and not coated in wax or anything, it’s definitely not water tight and could cause an accident. I did notice that the bottle holder came with a little loop that you could use for a wand or maybe a pen or something, which was neat. The sword holder was surprisingly the only thing that was real leather. The quality on it was great, though the lacing provided was a bit short, and of course you’ll have to lace it yourself. It wasn’t stiff, so that was great. Lastly, the shawl was honestly just a cut of soft felt or knit fabric with a safety pin. It’ll probably unravel over time, but it’ll work a couple of wears. My friend ended up using it as a sash. All-in-all, it’s a decent assortment of costume accessories, perfect for a ren fair or Halloween costume. There’s definitely enough stuff that you could split it with a friend too. And the quality is decent, but what you’d expect from this sort of thing, and the more you try to work with it and style it, the better it’s going to look. Read more

The only things that could’ve been an issue can be fixed with a pair of scissors the belt came extremely long (longer than the photo) before I cut it it went down to the floor and some. The wrist cuffs worked great but after treating them rough every night for the haunt the ends of the string that does them up started to fray but it was not major and was fixed like you would paracord (use a lighter to the end of it). I tightened all the pieces as much as they would go and eventually the went through a “break in period” and definitely fit better after being tight and used.
