The quality of the easel it very nice, thick wood and sturdy. The only thing I changed is where they have a smooth head screw and wing nut inside the storage area I reversed it so the wing nut was outside the storage area so I could get more loaded in the storage space without the wing nut getting in the way. Works great! The storage area is much larger, two levels, than I was expecting and holds all the water color and acrylic paints in the bottom portion and a few left went in the top tray drawer in the back which is totally visible still when the drawer is pulled out all the way. I don’t use oil paints so I didn’t load them into the easel. A trick I used to keep the paints organized and easy to find what color you want fast and not just randomly thrown in, was to actually cut the black tray they came in, for the acrylic paints I divided it so each section was cut to hold four tubes of paint and they lay in the bottom storage areas perfectly and then put a second layer on top of them. The water color tubes are smaller and the black plastic part of the trays fit perfectly only having to cut it in half to fit. The top tray drawer portion it also totally removable & options to put in the provided wooden dividers, which I didn’t because I found it would have a more flexible storage area without them, it holds the pallet knives, color wheel, water color and acrylic paper tablets, pallet paper, plastic paint pallet and wooden paint pallet, which I will use to cover the drawer top once it’s extended out to use that area as a kind of table top to work off of, oh and I put the unfold instructions in there too for reference until I get the hang of it. The paint brushes are legit Artist brushes much to my surprise, they come in their own cases which is nice, if I take them out of the cases there is still room for them in the storage drawer, but I liked how they were in the cases so it will be easy enough to attach a small bag to one of the shoulder strap loops to carry those and any other light weight small items in. Overall I’m very impressed with this brand and product. I bought this as a mother's day gift and my mom just couldnt stop saying wow, we have yet to see the product in action but I've set up the easel, which was easy enough, it's definitely well made. It's tall enough for 6'1" me to not be hunched over. The price balances out to about a dollar per item in the kit. The easel was easy to put together, a little wobbly in the legs if not tightened properly but overall I like it. The paints are so far so good. The watercolors go a long way, the acrylics are a little thicker than I wanted so I do thin them out prior to using. The oils I have not used yet. It comes with so much, you just cant go wrong with this however, if you are trying to really enjoy the watercolor aspect, the brushes shed, they flip and they are not very good quality. So take a moment and buy better quality watercolor brushes. The watercolor paper is so so but it holds ok. Bleeds quickly so beware. The kit comes with literally everything you need to get started and more. I have enjoyed using this and like the fact you can pack it up and take it with you to the park, beach or where ever. It has a handle for the easel but you should know it is solid wood so it does get heavy. I highly recommend this kit with the exception of taking a moment to get higher quality brushes, but these will get you by if you are just learning. Read more

I already have a meeden easel so I knew it would be a good product and I figured the art supplies would be cheap extras from China but they are awesome! It felt like an artist Christmas every time I opened one of the many boxes! The paint brushes are some of the coolest looking brushes I ever seen (and I have hundreds of paint brushes) this set was complete and came with everything an artist could want. This is art set was amazing and so well packaged. It was fun to open everything and felt like a real splurge, because of all included. Everything looks to be very good quality. I have only worked with the paints so far in this set, none of the brushes or other items as the paints were my main reason to buy this. The painting swatches I made to get a feel for the paint and the colors solidified my decision as they were great to work with. Only a few minor issues of binding separations in like 5 of the 96 paints and 1 broken cap. Can’t wait to dive deep into my art with these and testing the other items out.
