Great skateboard, very fast. if you aren't familiar with a regular skateboard or longboard it might take a little to get comfortable on it but if you have never ridden you can still learn quick. I've ridden some 20 miles on it and the wheel hasn't fallen off yet like the early models have. It is so almost too fun and too fast but the slower settings are great. 20 mph is the most id go for traveling here and there you can push it to 25 mph but it is sketchy that fast and it would be on any board. Id definitely recommend it if your on the verge of buying. Read more

I have 3 electric skateboards, and Meepo is the best quality for sure. I like how the mini has a kick tail that increases maneuverability greatly and since you can lift the front wheels you can ride over bumps and off curbs with less risk. It’s super fast, just as fast as my longer ones, and is actually a little scary since it’s so small and you can fall back easily if you have your weight on the tail. Amazing fun, but be careful. I put a stopper for my feet on the front and back to increase stability but not strap me in (which would be very bad if you fall). Read more

Okay so I bought this board about a month ago and here are my thoughts. I’ve used the board literally every day since because I use it to commute to work and everywhere else and it’s a lot of fun. The remote is responsive and easy to hold, the board itself is very comfortable to stand on, and it’s got some speed to it. However I have my slight gripes like the weight and how wobbly it is even with the trucks tightened and the 100a bushings in it. I also don’t like the battery life, it’s advertised as lasting 11 miles and unless you’re riding it on the level 1 speed which is maybe a little faster than normal walking speed you’ll get about 2/3 of that. Overall however I really do like this board. I’m just a random dude who wanted to make my commute to work a little less boring and I have been riding boards since middle school so I thought what the heck. It’s fun, it’s fast, it’s cool, and you’ll be happy you made the purchase. I’m giving it a 4 solely due to the wobble and the battery life. Read more

I did have a wheel failure after two and a half weeks of use. Contacted meepo and Amazon and they remedy the issue within 2 weeks. Have now had the unit for 11 months and have upgraded the wheels to the softer ones. I truly enjoy getting home and putting on the helmet and turning up the music and getting my mind right. It is not a toy, does push me to uncomfortable levels if I allow it. So just be careful (beers afterwards). I've been skating since early 70s and I feel that a good helmet is a must. I'm 200# and it has no problem getting me up to 25 mph on level 3 of 4. Sorry but I don't need to be going that fast on a skateboard. My youngest is a professional skateboarder and has no problem dogging this unit out. LOL, to be young again. Read more

I first got my board and it worked well for the first month or so. After that the tires started to make a weird noise and would move on it’s on even when not pressing the remote. This worried me for the future on the board. Within the next few weeks my board completely stopped working. It did not switch on. It did not charge. It was dead. I had faith that Meepo is a big company and would help me with my issues. That was not the case. Customer support was useless and low level. They did not help me and apparently the warranty I should have had did not exist. I would like to warn whoever is looking to purchase. I thought Meepo would stand out amongst all the other cheaper brands on Amazon but I was so wrong. They may charge high prices but you do not get a professional company and support with that so you might as well buy from the cheaper brands on Amazon as you will save money and your Meepo will break down anyway and it’ll cost you more to fix as they don’t help you. I will not be buying from them again, stay away! Read more

First off, I have been skating for a very long time period I did most of my skating from the ages of 13 to 20 period longboards and shortboards. Gotta escape boards period period Mebo. Is the company I found in 2018, I ordered their V-2 from their site period only good things to say about that, still works 2 day and it's been about 6 years period I have put a lot of miles on that board period I have tried the meatball minute 2. And have Seen the videos with mixed reviews. I feel like some of these videos? Can be biased and/or have gotten a weird board, it happens. That's why there is a return policy. Asfar as the mini 5, feels like an upgrade in most ways. The acceleration and breaking are both much smoother. The Mini 2 was more abrupt and the braking was choppy, imo (vs the Mini 5). I have gotten the v2 up to 30 mph. I know this board is capable as stated. I got the Mini 5 regular. I did not need the extended version as I use this mostly for fun and the 30 plus minutes is more than enough. The battery, I'm sure, is a little lower than advertised due to the size of me. The trucks, wheels, concave of the board all very top notch. It is what I expected from Meepo. I can see a beginner getting used to this on the first speed and eventually working up. I can also see an advanced skater handle this board and have a lot of fun. I also tried a belted board from a different company that coat 2x twice the amount and the acceleration and braking was super sketchy and the board super stiff. I would love to eventually try Meepo's belted version. That would be awesome. If your thinking about this Mini 5, it's a Meepo They continue to make quality products. Read more

Well I've had this MEEPO Mini5 electric board for about 2 years and it works amazing. On smooth roads or on a bath path very comfortable riding, not really recommended to on gravel or dirt paths will wear down your battery life faster and it's a hassle to carry back to your destination. If your not use to riding a short board, I don't recommend getting this board it's very fast at it's higher settings, but overall it's an extremely fun board to ride around on. Read more
