If you've never used night driving glasses, they are a big help. The yellow lenses just make everything clearer and more crisp. I had a prescription pair many years ago, but my prescription changed and I never got a new pair. This fit-over-glasses style is perfect for what I need and I can continue to use them regardless of my prescription. The thing that makes these MEETSUN glasses so great, besides the improved vision, is they have both a little clip-in area at the start of the earpiece, that you can clip thin framed glasses into to keep them securely attached, and if the clip doesn't work for your style of glasses, they have a ledge along the earpiece that will allow them to rest on your glasses earpiece. It's so simple, but it's genius. I'm the OG of wearing regular oversized sunglasses over my prescription glasses, but they don't stay in place like these driving glasses do. I'm very impressed with the design. The glasses are comfortable and I don't feel like I need to constantly adjust them to keep them on my face. The vision through the lenses are clear, with no imperfections or distortions. Added to that, they look really nice, too. They are larger than I normally wear, but they look fashionable and not utilitarian. I love the leopard print and the yellow lenses blend nicely with the design. They also come with a microfiber storage pouch and microfiber cleaning cloth, which are nice touches and will be useful. They function perfectly and now I can clearly see the edge of the road and other details that are important when driving, especially in an unfamiliar area. If you wear prescription glasses and are having trouble seeing clearly at night, these are what you need. For the price of a cheaper pair of sunglases, these are really a great value. I ordered these glasses in the color RED -- which actually looked more like a burgundy to pink gradient. I didn't mind since it looks exactly as pictured. I wasn't expecting a true red. The quality is great. The material is heavy duty and I didn't observe any surface flaws. It was packaged well and came with a cleaning cloth. I tried it on by itself and it fit well. This may be a little heavy for folks who are sensitive and prone to headaches. The lenses worked great in a dark environment! Unfortunately, I won't be able to use it. It doesn't fit over my glasses. The glasses are so huge, I expected it to work out fine. Its proportions could benefit from being slightly wider YET a little shorter. I love these and certainly wish I had them sooner. I get bothered by the intensity of headlights at night and these really really really do make it so much more comfortable to see past the glare and intensity of them at night. Usually I squint or have to block with my hand or just look at the side to avoid the pain of oncoming glare and I don't have to do that now. They really do brighten up the view at night and squash that discomfort very well. I also love that they come with a bag and a very generously sized glasses cleaning cloth. The bag is made of the same material as the wipe which is great too! I do have blue blocking and headlight glare glasses that ease the nighttime driving discomfort but I wear contacts most of the time. Now with these at hand I am comfortable with or woithout my glasses at night. I find these with my glasses are even better protection and comfort at night. They aren't runway worthy, in my opionion, because they are a bit big but I am pretty hapy with the look and pattern and certainly will not be too shy to use them in front of anyone given the quality of sight they give me. I think they would make a great gift for my parents but I am keeping this one for myself for sure! The frame does also have a nice durable flexibilty to it too. Read more
I had such high hopes for these night driving glasses. I actually try to avoid driving at night because of the intense glare I experience, so I was really looking forward to the possibility of reducing it. The first time I tried them, I was just a passenger. The sun was going down and didn’t notice any difference—but I assumed that was because it wasn’t fully dark yet. Later, when it was completely dark, I didn’t see a major reduction in glare, but the intensity of the bright white lights was definitely muted. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make driving feel more comfortable for me. I also found that they didn’t fit properly over my regular glasses, which would make long-term wear uncomfortable. I do like the concept and can see how they might help others, but for my eyesight, they just didn’t make a meaningful difference. Read more
