I tried different versions one this seems to have the more accurate readings. It’s very basic and it seems it was possibly used once, but not a deal breaker. Make sure to store the batteries separate as the one I had before was better, but they no longer make that version and the battery leaked. Read more
It does exactly what it says it does, seems accurate, and has already survived a couple drops. I got it just for fun, but with a group of people it becomes a competition fast, haha. Great tool to keep track of grip strength training, or betting with the buddies. Either way, no complaints. Read more

Product Review: Digital Hand Grip Dynamometer Pro This is a review for the Grip Strength Dynamometer Pro - Digital Hand Grip Tester & Trainer, 265lbs/120kg High Precision Sensor, Home Fitness, gym (White). Overview and Design The Digital Hand Grip Dynamometer Pro, often seen in a sleek white finish, provides a modern and practical way to measure and track hand and forearm strength. Unlike older, purely mechanical dynamometers, this model uses a high-precision digital sensor (electronic load cells) for its readings. The core design is functional and user-focused, featuring an adjustable handle to comfortably fit various hand sizes, making it suitable for both adults and youths. The device is generally noted for having a robust build quality and a comfortable, often non-slip, grip surface. Accuracy and Performance The main appeal of this "Pro" model is its high-capacity limit of 265 lbs (120 kg). This expanded range makes it a valuable tool not only for general home fitness tracking but also for stronger users in training (like rock climbers, wrestlers, or weightlifters) who might max out lower-capacity devices (which often stop at 200 lbs/90 kg). High Precision: The use of a digital sensor provides high precision, typically down to 0.2 lbs (0.1 kg), which is crucial for reliably tracking small, incremental improvements over time. Consistency: Users generally report that the device is consistent and reliable, a key factor for any training or rehabilitation tool. Display: The backlit LCD screen is clear and easy to read, instantly showing the maximum peak reading in your chosen unit (lbs or kg). Key Features and Training Value Beyond simple measurement, this device functions effectively as a training and tracking tool: User Profiles and Memory: A significant feature is the ability to store multiple user profiles (often up to 19), allowing an individual to track left/right hand progress or enabling multiple family members or gym partners to use the same device and retain their data. Automatic Comparison: After each test, the dynamometer automatically compares your new score to your last one or your recorded max, immediately displaying the incremental increase or decrease. This gamification and instant feedback are highly motivating for consistent training. Versatility: While it is marketed for home fitness and gym use, grip strength is a recognized biomarker for overall health and is used in clinical and physical therapy settings, making this device a versatile investment. Conclusion The Digital Hand Grip Dynamometer Pro is an excellent, modern upgrade over traditional spring or hydraulic gauges. Its high capacity, high precision, and integrated memory/comparison features provide serious value for anyone dedicated to measuring and improving their grip strength, whether for general health, sport-specific training, or rehabilitation purposes. No issues so far! I got this to test my grip strength as I've began working more on functional movements while working out vs extremely heavy lifting. I've compared this to a friends device which is far more expensive and both read the same after multiple tests. The build quality is great in this grip tester, I expect it to last a long time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4.3/5) This grip strength dynamometer was very helpful after surgery while working to get my hand strength back. It’s easy to use, gives clear and accurate digital readings, and tracks progress over time, which was motivating during recovery. The build feels solid, and the grip is comfortable even during longer sessions. I also like that it works both as a tester and a trainer, making it useful beyond just rehab. Overall, it’s a great tool for recovery, home fitness, or anyone looking to improve grip strength. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This grip tester is really cool and does a great job measuring grip strength accurately. It feels comfortable enough since the grip has grooves for your fingers. It can show results in either pounds or kilograms depending on how you set it, which is helpful depending on what you prefer. Once you pop in the included batteries, all you have to do is press the power button to turn it on, and pressing the same button switches the unit of measurement. It’s simple and straightforward, which makes it easy for anyone to try. Using it is just a matter of gripping and squeezing, and the reading shows up instantly. We passed it around the living room and had fun competing to see who could get the highest number, which made it a surprisingly entertaining little gadget. The sensor feels precise, and every reading seemed consistent, which adds to the overall confidence in its accuracy. I use it every now and then myself because I already work on grip strength with other equipment I have at home. This tester gives me a quick way to see where I’m at and adds a fun extra challenge to my grip workouts. For something so simple, it’s been a great addition to the fitness tools I use. Read more
As someone with horrible carpal tunnel in both my right and left hands & wrists. Often times, especially during winter and colder days, the pain can be so severe it wakes me up throughout the night & causes issues throughout the day. I am a candidate for surgery on both hands, however, I am not jumping for a quick fix when I am only 50. Therefore, I have been making strides with physical therapy, at home homeopathic pain management & workouts. I wanted to frequently test my hand strength, especially during flare ups. This little gadget has been instrumental in my knowledge (& also recovery). Not only can I monitor my daily strength but I can use this for actual strength training as well. Very easy to use, simply powder it on, hold your arm at the directed angle and squeeze with your hand. Extremely easy to monitor your strength & very helpful for hand & wrist training. I highly recommend this unit for anyone with carpal tunnel or nerve issues. Read more
