These shoes are perfect for what I needed them for. I have rheumatoid arthritis which causes my feet, ankles, and legs to swell so bad at times that I can’t get my shoes on. These shoes make it easy for me to slide my feet into something similar to a house shoe, and still look professional at work. As far as quality, they are not bad but not the quality I would prefer. I typically shop at Macy’s, Dillards, and Aldo for shoes. These are equivalent to maybe a Target quality but, I expected that when I ordered them. Considering the price, you get satisfactory value for your money and they are definitely worth the price. My expectations can sometimes be much higher than other people so, I’m sure a majority of people would really like these shoes. I bought these as a last minute purchase before heading to a resort. I needed a close toed shoe for the formal dinner restaurants, and these looked like they’d be formal yet still be resort wear. The shoe box they came in was pretty smashed and destroyed. It was obviously before packaging, because the Amazon box they were shipped in was completely fine. As someone who keeps all their shoes in the box, that was disappointing. The shoe itself is genuine leather and has that great real leather smell. The shoes themselves don’t look as expensive in person as they do in the pictures. They are also not very comfortable to walk in, and I can’t imagine going a long distance in them. The seem to run true to size. I wear a size 12 in 90% of my shoes, and the size 12 was perfect. One thing I was a little surprised about is there is no grips for traction on the bottom of the shoe. While that’s certainly common in men’s dress shoes, I was surprised they did that when there is no ankle support. Slipping in these shoes seems inevitable. Ultimately, decent look, quality is okay, but I wouldn’t pay over $40 for them. Read more
